The umbrella's work well and do a good job with coverage overall. My kids are able to use them and close them without much effort. I had an issue with one of them after about 6 months where it wouldn't fully open or close on its own. After submitting an email with pictures and description of the issue the vendor replied to me by the next day and had shipped a new one out free of charge. Bought a pack of 4. They seemed sturdy. I opened 1 before we left for a trip and was pleased with how they opened, felt like Mary Poppins! Closing them is a different story-- you need 2 hands to close them all the way, it's too difficult for children or people without much strength. Also, they are a bit on the heavy side as some reviewers mentioned. I was very disappointed to get these to our travel destination and see that TWO of them broke at the joints when first opened!
