  • Comes in Handy!
Size: Phoenix 200 G2
I've used it every day for the past week, and it has been rock solid. My son and I could charge our phones and power a fan all through the night for three days. Fairly small size and enough power to suit most of our needs. Here are some of the key features that make it stand out from the competition: 1. Only 5.3 lbs with so many USB ports and 2 AC outlets. 2. I Love the USB-C port! USB-C PD (Power Delivery) Port of up to 60W for those thirsty MacBook Pros and other high-wattage devices. 3. Dual input charging with a maximum combined charging rate of 120W It has lived up to everything it claims. It's super portable and compact. If you're looking to purchase your first solar generator/portable power station that can actually handle your overnight camping trips, this is the unit for you! ... show more

  • Great Backup Power for Weekend Getaways
Size: Phoenix 200 G2
I have been looking for a new portable power station for my weekend trip since the old one failed. Renogy's 222Wh portable power station seems to be a perfect fit. When I took it from the box, I was impressed by its compact size. It comes with a sturdy handle, making it pretty handy. What I like most about this little beast is the 60W USB-C port. Now I do not need to bring my bulky adapter with me anymore during the trip. I can simply use this USB-C port to charge my MacBook during the trip. The recharging speed is impressive as well. I was able to use my laptop charger and the included AC adapter to fully recharge it in around 2 hours. The LCD display is also helpful. It provides a lot of useful information, like the input/output wattage, and estimated time. Overall, this is a great product. I would definitely recommend this to my friends. ... show more

  • Well this one works and had all its connectors and cables.
I ordered one of these direct from Renogy. I could not find the cables as well. There is a small box in the Renogy box which contains all the bits and the bits stick inside the box. Open both ends and look down through it. While I dont think they are as efficient as the rigid panels,in my opinion they are worth it. At about 8 pounds each, they're quite a bit lighter than their rigid counter parts. These are somewhat packable light weight panels. They are not waterproof and wont perform the same as a normal panel. When I realised that I needed more power. I ordered a second one on here. Renogy is no longer offering them on their website. I had contacted Renogy about some questions and currently with the whole national shutdown and the aftermath. Their response time to help tickets is a bit lacking. So much so I revieved an apology email from their president. So... sorry Renogy, you got to step up your game. I took a a short circuit voltage reading and a short circuit amperage reading at about 900 feet elevation in the northern midwest on 6/7/20. The sky had a lot of haze and was partially overcast so do not hold my numbers against the panel. I will update this if I have trouble running these in parallel. A friend of mine purchased 2 of the same units and has complications from doing so. He used the MC4 connectors and I am going to try and build SAE conntected harnesses to match up with these. My first panel did very well, I was able to get up to a little over 6 amps at 16 volts on a cloudy day through my west mountain radio epic power gate. This is an MPPT controller but it also ties in to work as a gate between a 12 volt power supply and a battery so you have constant power. It really helps that you can monitor it with a laptop and easily change settings. I have a Renology Wanderer 30i. While I need to purchase a module that costs the same as the controller to program and monitor it. (Which both the module and the app have poor reviews) I did ok with the unit on my first attempt. The cloud conditions were worse that day and I could only get 50 watts out of it. It is a PWM controller in the first place. Take around 25% off of the panel wattage and take off another 25-30% off after it goes through the controller and it works about right. I have to build more cables for that side of the project. Best I could get out of the panel today while typing this review is about 4.5 amps. I still need to check the other one to see if it is about the same. Voltage was over 18 volts. ... show more

  • Great little power pack !
Size: Phoenix 200 G2
I got the new power pack from renogy and so far so good. We've had a couple rolling blackouts and it was great for recharging my phone and laptop. It charges quickly and is super easy to use. The display is super bright in a dark room and let's you know how much power is remaining.. the only criticism I have so far is the remaining time bounces around a lot but that's probably because of my electronics? Overall super happy and will update later. ... show more

  • Very small and light - but one 12V problem
Size: Phoenix 300
The Pheonix 300 could not be simpler to use. Just plug in a USB, USB-C, D-Tap or AC receptacle, turn on the power and go. It comes with a USB C - C cable, A - C cable and a wall charger. The handy carrying handle makes it easy to move from spot to spot. I agree with others who discovered the simple lit panel is overly bright in a darkened room, you'll want to attenuate (cover the light) the brilliant blue panel with some tape or tuck it away from eyesight. Also, the device's 12V CIG plug output is unregulated, which means the DC output varies with Phoenix's state of charge from about 11 to 17 volts. Therefore it doesn't seem to be compatible on a full charge with Phillips Respironics Dreamstation 2, and likely will be a problem with other sensitive electronics. The Best Practice would be to utilize it's DC output for string lights or other products that can work with such a wide range of voltage. ... show more
