I installed this system on my boat over a year ago and I am very happy with renogy products. The charge controller works well even though the identifiers for the difference batterie types are small. The menu navigation on the buttons is a bit odd but once gotten use to is easy to navigate. The display is easily readable for me from 7' away day or night with a light. The solar panel survived hurricane idalia here in Florida with 4 mounts on a rack and a extra tie rope. Only thing I wish I did was get atleast 1 more panel. This system can give me 8 hours of video gaming on my Xbox and 19" led tv and almost can run my mini fridge for 5 hours with it starting hot ( the reason I think I need 1-2 more panels as I am only currently using the 1 it came with). It charges my daily draw batteries in about 4 hours to 100, most of the time to maximum and it protects itself great. I also spaced away from my inner wall with 1/2" custom mounting spacers, so far even in 100 degree heat no thermal shutdown. Panel will reduce output during extreme UV but does keep batteries 75% charged for night. ... show more

I put this solar panel on my RV and it does a good job keeping my batteries powered up. Now I no longer need to run a generator when camping! Also got the blue tooth accessory so that I can monitor my power with the Renogy app. Works great!

    • MPPT charger is electrically noisy but the solar cells are great

I love the solar cell. Charges and the battery and operates great. The biggest downside is I use this for charging a battery powering an amateur radio station and the MPPT charger is very noisy in the 80M and 40M bands. A low pass filter helps but doesn't eliminate all the noise. The charger gets disconnected whenever I operate the radio. I heard that all MPPT chargers are noisy, not just Renogy's, but can't verify that. I'm having to purchase a PWM charger and, hopefully, that fixes that problem although I expect the battery not to last as long as it should. ... show more

Tried for a few months to get it to work at 24 volts and finely had to give up. It must be defective. 12 worked just fine. 8 -100 panels and 2 12 batters in series. Super easy to follow the instruction but have to go back to 12 V. You own me $200 for a 24v inverter that is just a paper weight.

Got this in Oct of 2020 it has been working fine. I attached a 12v power and 2 USB charger to the charge controller. I use this to charge cell phones, portable speakers, DVD player. It powers both USB ports and the 12v cigarette lighter style port for the DVD player all together fine. Not much of a load though. ... show more
