I have a 07 Toyota Corolla CE in my amazon garage and was shown this would fit my car. After doing some minor research and visiting couple local mechanics I decided to purchase this. I am writing this review because this alternator has very low reviews and hopefully this review will help someone else make a decision. 03-08 use denso alternators which lasted me 13 or so years. This is a perfect fit on 03-08 Corolla model years I do not know about later years. It might be from China, my box came or destroyed, directions were not useful at all , but after several YouTube videos I was able to change it on my own, and am no car mechanic. Is it as good as oem, well I don’t know and honestly don’t need it to be. My car is very old and has a lot of miles, this install was easy and straightforward. Plainly said my car was not charging my battery and after installing this alternator it is now working just like before. That’s all that matters. This saved me a lot of money not having to take my car to a mechanic. That’s why it’s five stars to me It works, easy to install, and more affordable than any other option I had.

1997 Toyota Corolla CE. My friend that is a mechanic. Was able to put it in for me in 30min. My car turned on with No Problem. Before that. I had bought one from AutoZone and what they said would fit. Didn't fit and Didn't even look the same. I'm Glad i went on Amazon and found the correct one with no problem.

Holes don’t line up, bolt gets bound up and can’t go through. Fun times when you live in the mountains and have to order everything and do it yourself. Off to walk to a neighbors to borrow a dremel! Just a horribly made product. Update! Worst. Day. Ever. Do not buy a Chinese made alternator unless you want to have a simple project turn into an all day project filled with anger, hatred, swear words, threats and ultimatums to the very universe we live in. I sincerely considered just setting my car on fire, quitting my job and becoming a crazy recluse. This was my 3rd alternator install......1st China product.
