Got this for my 4 year-old who's into construction toys and he loves it! The digger is legit picking up small objects like rocks and sand and shifting them around. The controller is easy to use and includes two batteries and chargers for extended playtime. The bucket has two main actions – it can scoop or push – though it’s not fully adjustable in terms of movement. While it’s a little more delicate than some other toys, it’s a fun and engaging choice for kids who love construction vehicles. Definitely worth considering!

I got this for my grandson to use at the park near his house which has a sandbox. However, when he came to visit us he had a great time using it to scoop snow! Great toy and it worked as advertised. It is a little loud so I recommend using it outdoors. My grandson is 3 1/2 so he could not do the more advanced things on the remove without some help but he could do the basics and he enjoyed it.

What can I say? This toy is a blast. It has some of the most realistic features of the real thing. It drives forward and backwards but also skid steers left and right. You can spin the entire cab in a 360 degree twice in either direction before it stops and clicks. This gives you pinpoint accuracy of where you want to be. The unit beeps when going backwards just like the real thing. The bucket does a full lift, reach, and scoop and will keep doing this while holding the button. The alternate button does the reverse action. It is difficult to actually scoop things up, but it is so like the real thing that doesn't matter. Do not expect to use this as a functional machine but enjoy it doing all the things like a real one. It is so much fun to use we have to share with my 2yrd old grandson, his 26yr old father, and myself.

So overall I was highly impressed with this toy It has all the functionality you could ask for in an excavator as an RC. It has the controls for the arm and bucket as one control which is fine. You can either do it in reverse or forward motion, You can spin it around as well. Please keep in mind it does have a limit as to how far it can spin and we'll make a grinding noise, please understand that sometimes your child will find this grinding noise pleasant and will continue to do it to try to kill the battery in the toy. It also has full movement with drivability as well. Forward backward all around with no issues. I did also appreciate that. Even though it does make sound while it's moving, it does have an option on a controller for silent mode where it does not play the background noise with it. Which if you do have the sound on the constant background noise is very white, noisy and can be rather distracting. The biggest downfall with this toy is the battery does not last near as long as anyone would want it to, It did come with two batteries which is a positive and two cables to charge said batteries. However, the batteries don't last as long as it takes to charge the batteries themselves. That being said, we have accepted the battery life as part of it and it does help us with limiting the amount of time the toddler spends playing with the toy Overall, I would say this is a great gift for a toddler and highly recommend for one that is honestly obsessed with excavators.

These is a super cool functional remote control excavator or "digger" in kiddo speak. Remote is fairly intuitive and it was nice it came with two batteries and chargers. The bucket has two functions of both a scoop and shove. You can't control the articulation of the bucket with the remote aside from the built in scoop or shove function, but it still works well enough to pick up small rocks or sand and move around. It's a bit more delicate than some toys so something to keep in mind. Highly recommended for the young engineer in your life.
