This writing tablet is one of the best values for the money! Lightweight, easy to use, and works as advertised! I primarily purchased this device for our daughter to use on road trips, but quickly found how useful it is around the house. It comes with attachable magnets that allows you to place it on a fridge or any other metallic surface and is great for simple note taking or leaving a quick message for other family members. It keeps waste down by eliminating the need for post-it notes and notepads for those times you want to jot something down that you don't plan on keeping. The tablet is pressure sensitive, so the harder you press when writing, the thicker the line appears on the display which is a really nice feature. The screen on the device is not backlit so it's clearly intended to be used during the day. With that said, there are no issues with visibility during normal use. It appears to be an e-ink display, although I don't know for certain that this is the case. Regardless, in practice, the screen is very similar to what you'd see on an Amazon Kindle. Anything you write on the screen will remain there until you delete it which is also one of the reasons that I believe that it's using an e-ink technology because it's not drawing any power to keep the image on screen. It's powered by a 3V lithium watch battery which is included and already installed out of the box. Not only that, but they give you a spare battery and an extra stylus which is incredibly thoughtful on the manufacturers part. The extra stylus not only serves as an additional writing utensil so that more than one person can use the tablet without sharing a stylus (great for playing games like tic-tac-toe, etc.), but they cleverly included a hole that the stylus slots into that allows you to use the second stylus as a kickstand to prop the screen up. The battery compartment is held closed by a screw so that kiddos don't accidentally remove the battery which could be a dangerous chocking hazard had they not thought to do this. They even include a small screwdriver, which again, is incredibly thoughtful. At this price point, I wouldn't have expected any of these extras and feel that this company is going above and beyond to provide a great value. Time will tell how this device holds up with rigorous use, but at this price point, you're bound to get your money's worth. In fact, I never expected to get a device with so much value at this price that it's almost hard to believe. If you've even remotely considered getting a writing tablet, then I wholeheartedly recommend this one. ... show more

I like it! I use it every day for everyday life notes. So far, so good. I bought a pink one. The pink color is as same as shown in the picture of the product on the web page which is the pink tone that I like. It is lightweight. The size of the tablet and the writable area are good; not too big and not too small; there is enough room to write a good amount of to-do-listings, shopping listings, or a short paragraph, etc. The lock function is very useful and it helped me many times not to loose my written notes when I mindlessly or accidentally pressed on the delete button. The writing area responds well to the different weights I put in when I write enabling me to make thin/thick lines as I wish. In dim room, the writing I wrote on the writable area looks a little bit too dark for me, but with light or sunlight it does make a difference since the writing is apparently well brightened up -- as you can see in the 2 images I attached to this review. The product also came with one extra pen, one extra cell button battery, and 2 magnets with stickers for making the pad able to stick to a refrigerator. ... show more

The screen is not colorful. It only has only two colors, a yellow-green to yellow. The battery was dead, so it had to be replaced. Otherwise, it works as it should and I do appreciate it came with an extra pen.

The only thing I miss about my note-2 phone is the stylus. I loved being able to take quick, handwritten notes that I couldn’t lose. I have been looking for a product that doesn’t need to be constantly plugged in, that wouldn’t make my already too heavy purse even heavier, and with an integrated spot for the stylus (that I would otherwise lose). And I’ve found it!!! This is a great, simple, lightweight tablet I can take notes on, make grocery lists, write down stuff when I think of it (so I remember). It comes with magnets that can be attached to the back for refrigerator placement. It writes in a light green on a black background and is easy to see. Ideally I would have liked a lighter, say yellow, writing color for higher contrast, but the green does work. It’s big enough for most uses, and erases easily with a touch of a button. You cannot store your notes, but you can photograph anything you want to save. Stylus is firmly attached, and a asecond one that fits into a well on the tablet is included, as is an extra battery. Note that , like paper, you can’t see it in the dark, so if that’s something you need, this isn’t the right product for you. ... show more
