My first grader was having such a hard time learning to read and was behind kids her age. She loves this pen reader thing. It’s so fun to use and helps so much with the sounding out letters, site words, and reading comprehension. It comes with so many books so she has plenty of practice sounds out long and short vowels. My 2 year old (28 month) son loves reading. We read him multiple books a day. I wanted to find something more interactive for him so I decided to try this, even though he is young. It is better than I expected. It is easy to use. No Wi-Fi, no Bluetooth, no connecting. You simply turn it on and it works with whatever book you have. In today’s age mixed with low patience toddlers… AMAZING. (It does come with a cable to connect it to your computer, but it is not required and works without it) My son is by no means reading yet, but he enjoys clicking the pictures and hearing the different sounds and character voices, and as I read the book with him over and over, he is becoming more independent with it.
