My kid has had a month and a half to try this watch out, and so far it's been terrific. Setting up contacts has been a breeze, she enjoys using the few apps that are available so far, and she has the freedom to communicate with friends. Battery life is just about a day with the tracking auto set to 30 minute intervals. The only frustration she has voiced is intermittently losing connectivity, where she restarts the watch and has to wait for a message to send. All in all this has been a great way to dip our toes in the water for her gaining some independence.

I must say, I am very impressed with the accuracy on the GPS tracking on this watch. It has been spot on since we got it a month ago. It is easy to use for my 7 year old and we have not had any issues with calls not going through. Thetwo negatives about it are the battery life and call quality. While I can still hear my daughter's calls, they can be scratchy/spotty at times. The battery life does not last more than 1-1.5 days without charging even without use. Kind if frustrating to have to charge it every single night, but as long as we keep on schedule, no problems.

We absolutely love the Cosmo JrTrack 5. My son enjoys wearing it so much that he rarely takes it off. It feels like a fun watch to him, but it also gives us real peace of mind as parents. He uses the step tracker daily and treats it like a game, which keeps him moving. The timer is great for helping him manage time with homework and play, and the messaging feature is one of our favorite parts. He texts us throughout the day, which makes him feel independent while still staying connected. The biggest benefit is knowing he can reach us and that we can keep an eye on his location when he goes to play away from home. It gives us confidence to let him explore while still keeping him safe. Overall, it has been a great balance of freedom for him and reassurance for us. Highly recommend for families with kids who want a little independence without giving them a full phone.

I bought this for my 7-year-old daughter so that I can stay in touch with her when she is with her mom or with the sitter. I also wanted a way to have her location in case of emergencies. This watch has been perfect for that. My daughter is able to use talk to text, send pictures, and even call me. It has been a great way to stay connected with her when she is not with me. It does allow a couple of games, which fortunately are games that spur her brain to engage, and I find to be brain games. I love that the only people who can contact her are people I have added to her contacts list via the app or parents portal. The app and portal give you complete control over the watch. The setup is fairly easy. The monthly cost for a cellular plan is a little higher than expected, but it is worth it. The watch is a little big for a 7-year-old, but she likes it. Plus, I did see they make a clip that can hang from their pants or bag instead of wearing the watch. I can only imagine how helpful this will be as she gets older and starts doing more on her own. I love this watch and hope it only continues to get better.
