I have 5 kids, and now that it's summer and 3 are on break from school, these tablets are a godsend. I'm saddened that with inflation, these are getting ridiculously expensive, but Amazon runs their 50% off deal periodically, and so I buy 2 at a time. It's always good to have a back-up... The batteries last most of the day considering the screen brightness and volume is always maxed out, and they never exit out of the games or videos they're watching before wandering off to do something else. I like the 2yr replacement since that's about as long as they last. (I have one tablet that's almost 5 years old and still working fine though) Either there's internet connection issues, lagging, freezing, videos won't play, or someone stepped on the screen and it broke. I will say they get thrown around in temper tantrums and stomped on quite frequently and they hold up extremely well. They do take a beating as long as you keep the cases on 'em. The downside is, everytime you delete something downloaded, fragments remain in a misc folder in the system files, which you can't delete from the tablet itself. You end up running out of space almost instantly. You can however connect the tablets to a computer and go into the system files and clear them out. It's a pain in the a$$, and you need to be tech savvy. Also you have to use the charger cord they come with or it won't connect. I would suggest buying an SD card which eleviates this issue. The kids can navigate the user interface easily. My youngest, who was 1 at the time got his hands on one. Didn't take him long to master it and now at almost 2, he knows where to find the games & videos he likes across all the tablets (I also have the Pro version for the older kids). The games are cute and entertaining. I have yet to come across anything that isn't kid friendly content. The pros outweigh the cons and can make the life of a stay-at-home Mom or Dad much easier when household chores need to be done. Highly recommend. ... show more

Great for my toddlers AFTER I struggled initially. The tablets arrived without instructions and the language settings were not set to English. I had to search on YouTube how to change the language settings and blindly do so seeing as I was unfamiliar with Dutch or whatever language it was previously set to. I felt as though the tablets were previously used. Also, these tablets hold little space, but just enough. I also do not like how I cannot remove apps or shows that are automatically generated on the apps list. Though they are shows for children, I am still selective on what my children watch. This is a very solid tablet. The build is nice, the protective case is exceptional for little ones, it feels good in your hands, it's lightweight, and it loads quickly. I bought 2, for our 5 & 1 year old. We have been using the Contixo tablets for years (starting with our 9 year old). They are similarly priced and built, but the Contixo tablets use Google/Android. I know, I know. :) I knew this didn't have Google, Google Play, or web access when I bought it. What I didn't realize was how important that was for us, OR everything else that losing that functionality meant. The downside to Contixo tablets is that they are sometimes slow & buggy. The Fire tablet is far more fast and smooth. But, alas, it just didn't meet OUR needs. The MAIN things for us were: 1. No YouTube Kids (my kids love YT Kids & use it regularly), 2. No FamilyLink parental controls mgr...or similar program (I'm accustomed to that specific interface. I pull up the FL app, it shows me the location of the item on Google Maps, I can ping the item if it is misplaced, I can set screen limits, I can control what sites they visit, I can see their history, I can set bedtime, I can immediately lock the item, and so much more. 3. No reliable way to ping the tablet or make it ring when lost/misplaced. Our house isn't huge, but it is spacious & has many nooks & crannies. My kids put things down in the darndest places. I need to be able to quickly log into an app on my phone, press "ring/find tablet" and hear the item (so I can find it, similar to my cell phone). We've been looking for 1 child's TV remote for 9 months and still haven't found it (lol). So, that functionality is a huge deal for us. I also missed the simple home screen on the Contixo tablets. I can setup exactly what apps I want them to see on the home screen (like a cell phone). The Fire tablet had too many different options, suggested apps, & icons on the screen. I didn't really see an option to hide those or customize that view. Again, the Fire tablet is beautiful, it just didn't suit our needs. It felt like an extension of my FireTV or Prime Video home screen from our TV. That is too busy for my kids' needs. They want to click & open every show they see (& some of them are not free). If you just need a portable way for your kids to watch programs/shows from Prime Video, this is golden. Otherwise, meh. 4. There also aren't any games. My kids love the little coloring, spelling, and word games (Google Play Store) on their Contixo tablets. Again, worth mentioning three times, I am still very, very surprised about not having a way to ring the item if it was lost. I couldn't even install Lookout or a similar program to help. This is a child's item. They misplace things. At this price point, that should be a no-brainer. So basically if they lose it or lay it down out of sight, you are S.O.L. until you come across it. I saw many moms complain about these same few issues. I'm sure Amz will fix it in the future. I'll repurchase then. Returned both for now. ... show more

This is a life saver for a child who loves to watch Gracie's Corner a lot. This tablet is a little on the small size, but it's a great fit for our one year old! The hardcase is perfect for preventing damage and broken screens. You are able to download other apps, play games and view educational content with your little one. The battery has held for a few days before needing to be charged, but granted that he is not on it for several hours straight. I love the built in stand. I love it my 5 yr old son has autism and he works this perfectly he has dropped it multiple times and it doesn’t even have a scratch very resilient and easy to work he uses it on his own an has even learned things off of the numerous apps that are offered and I love the fact that it has Disney and he can still watch his favorite shows on YouTube as well and he has also spilled juice on it and put food on it and I just wipe it clean an it’s good to go overall awesome product I am very satisfied so is my 5yr old 😁🤩 ... show more
