This has been a great remote control car. Right out of the box it felt like it was high quality and well designed. The tsuspension system seemed responsive and bouncy, and the whole car felt light-weight yet sturdy. It also looks well built and look slike a cool truck. Setting it up was simple: just plug in the rechargeable battery to the underside of the truck, and pop in 4 AAA batteries into the remote. We turned them on and they connected automatically right away. Driving the truck is simple: You pull the trigger to drive forward, pull the trigger backwards to drive backwards, and turn the wheel to turn right or left. There are four other buttons on the remote: 3 of them configure different speeds and the fourth turns the headlights on and off. This thing feels fast! It's advertised as 20mph, and that seems about right. Being such a little toy it really zips around when on cement or asphault. This thing has some powre in it too, because when I drive it in our lawn it's still able to drive just fine. Even stopping on the lawn and then starting again it can handle it great. We've crashed it a few times and it has held up. While I do think this thing is pretty tough, it's far from indestructible, and I would avoide crashes as much as possible. My one complaint is that I wish that the wheel would GRADUALLY turn the wheels as you rotated the turning control. Instead, it seems to only have three hard positions: straight, right, and left. There's no gradual rotation to the right or left. Overall, a VERY fun remote control car! If you're looking gift an RC car or get a decent one for yourself, skip the super cheap $15-25 ones, we've had those before and they don't last or work great. This one seems like a great balance of budget and quality. I've had tons of fun with it as an adult, as have my 6 and 10 year old boys.

We've seen other people playing with such RC toys at our local park and were always intrigued. I was very happy to get this Vroomix 1:16 4WD RC monster truck. It's called "light hobby" and I can definitely see the difference in use compared to some of the other ones I've seen. That said, my son is 6, so this is perfect for us. The age rating is 8+, but he did fine with it under my supervision. The toy is easy to set up and use. The controller is very intuitive. We started out on the grass/dirt part of our park, and once I figured out I needed to hit the offroad button, it really started going. It worked really well on grass and dirt, up and over mounds and through thick turf. It didn't seem so fast. But when I switched it to race mode and put it on the paved walking path at the park, it really zoomed. Now, controlling it on that surface at that speed wasn't so easy, but that's something to get used to. I tested the range by walking off "yards" and I got to 35, which comes out really close to the 110 feet that they say the range is. You do need to supply 3 AAA batteries to power the controller. The car's battery charges easily with a USB-C charger. It takes about 2 hours to get a full charge and the charge lasts a good while. It outlasted us, even though we didn't fully charge the thing. I'm not sure how long the batteries in the controller will last, but they didn't die right away, so that's good. This toy seem very durable. It has soft, knobby tires and a bouncy suspension. There's not a lot that can go wrong with it in terms of chassis and body. My son and I are both really excited about this RC monster truck.

We absolutely love this RC truck! We already have several remote control cars, but this is our first truck, and it’s been a really fun addition. The larger, rugged tires make a huge difference compared to our race-style RC cars, which are really only meant for smooth pavement. This truck handles grass and dirt with no problem, and I was impressed with how well it tackled uneven terrain. We even drove it over small tree roots, and with a little extra throttle, it powered right over them. It’s definitely built for more adventurous driving, and that’s made it a lot more fun to use. One feature I’m especially excited about is the snow mode. We haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but it’ll be interesting to see how it performs once winter comes around. Based on how well it’s handled everything else so far, I have high hopes. My only minor complaint is that the remote still uses AAA batteries. It would’ve been nice if it were rechargeable like the truck itself, but that’s a very small downside considering how well everything else performs. Overall, we’re extremely happy with this RC truck. It’s durable, capable, and a blast to drive. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an RC vehicle that can handle more than just pavement!

The truck has several features of higher priced machines from the removable body to the independent suspension system and AWD. The truck is responsive and easy to control and the proportional throttle allows full control over the speed. Turn in is sharp but I had a hard time trying to drift it on my tile floor as the tires have such a good grip. The suspension has a lot of movement so it absorbs bumps and small obstacles with ease. There is a lever under the truck to adjust the alignment so the truck drives straight, a nice touch. I still need to get it out on dirt to see what it will do. The battery compartment is large and the included battery gives it a long run time! The battery being under the truck means that you have to remove a screw from the battery door every time you need to charge the battery, I'm worried about the threads stripping out, but there are also 2 door lock that secure it in place. The controller requires 4 AAA batteries which aren't included. The truck is a blast to drive and a great price for the performance it has. It came very well packaged to prevent shipping damage. I do have an issue with the truck. My controller has an issue with reverse, the first time trying to back up the truck won't go, I have to release the throttle and try again (normally only once). I'll end up disassembling the controller to see if there is a loose component or an adjustment I can make, maybe the potentiometer is faulty. I suspect it is a defect with my unit. The build quality looks very good.

Ok first off this thing is cool as can be. Wished it lasted longer but hey what can you expect for as fast as this thing can move hahaha. The quality is exceptional and it is very durable my son keeps coming in and telling me how many flips he made it do barrel rolling across our backyard. It actually a pretty good sized rc car i was honestly expecting it to be some small 5 inch car max and its actually quite large compared to my original thoughts. The battery probably would last a bit longer if he used a slower speed setting instead of the highest but what fun would that be i guess. I am going to need to find replacement batteries so he can continue his fun when the battery is drained. I would also like to add it has the ability to interchange the cars body which is way cool. Now to find car bodies for it and batteries because he absolutely loves it. He has even named it Darreled not sure where that came from but I will let that one be i guess .

I got this to give my sons something to do outside when it’s too hot to be practicing their sports and they’ve already shriveled up in the pool. This did not disappoint. It is easy enough to drive for my 4 year old and sturdy enough to handle him. While it is fast enough to satisfy my older boys. It has different settings for the different terrain you may use it on. They raise it on the concrete or tear it up in the grass, sand, dirt, rocks, and pine straw in the backyard. Maneuverability is great for going through and around obstacles. The remote control is easy to use. The battery holds a decent charge. Considering the price point this is at it way exceeds expectations.

Oh yeah, this works. Ordered for my two grandsons, both big monster truck fans. Of course they are fighting over who gets to use this. For the price, this has features that are well above its price point. AWD, Removable skin, easy to use RC, almost 30mph speed (we clocked this on a straightaway - no way this is only 20mph!!), and this is not a small toy. it has size, it maneuvers well. the RC has range. This looks tough, colors, wheel size, tires, everything. The one small drawback (not a big issue): The battery needs to be charged often, but again - almost 30mph? It's worth the charging and worth the price. Yes, I like using it too. Wish there was a 6th star!
