We bought these boats after getting cheap ones from 5 Below, they absolutely love them. Ages 2 and 4, both are able to easily control the boats in our pool. Our first set of boats stopped working within a week, but we reached out and received replacement boats with no problems. They are still working a couple months later. Most important thing is to really make sure they aren’t left in water and the battery is removed after every use so the inside of the boat can dry out between uses. But we are very happy with our boats and will buy them again once these ones stop working.

These RC boats exceeded my expectation. I was not expecting much, I was happy that the price was low and was looking for a set of two for my nephews' birthdays (5 and 7) that they would be celebrating at the lake. The product was shipped, it was longer than the typical 2-day prime shipping, but it arrived on the day that was given. Boat Batteries - the boats come with rechargeable batteries, the instructions say that it takes 60-90 min to fully charge the battery which will last about 30 minutes. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the batteries arrived fully charged and ready for play. RC Batteries - each remote requires two AA batteries - these are not included so you'll want to have them on hand. Use and Features - I was a little skeptical when I turned the remote on and tried out the controls and nothing happened. The instructions say that the boat needs to be in the water, but I was nervous when nothing happened. We put the boats in the water, turned on the remote control and it immediately kicked into gear. The 5 and 7-year-old were able to easily steer and control the boats with little adult help. The controls were intuitive and they were racing and chasing each other in no time. I was really impressed with the fun that was had and the value of the set. I will update if there are any changes, but overall highly recommend.

Purchased this for our daughter after seeing one on another boat at the lake. She loves playing with them! My only complaint is that it’s difficult to know what controller controls each boat (easy fix with a label maker) and the batteries seem to die quickly. Overall, it was a good summer purchase!

Average, entry level RC boat. Kids love them in the pool, but difficult to keep them from getting controller wet. ( not faulr of manufacturer). Occassional issue connecting controller to boat or one controller ends up interfering with other boat. Battery life is about 45 mins. Overall a good purchase for price point.

These boats were fast & fun. One turned over and took on water. We quickly drained it and took a blow dryer to dry it out. I wish they were a little more waterproof, but the kids had fun with them.

Great fun. I bought these for my 4 year old granddaughter and I to play with together. She loves racing against her grandpa with these in the pool. They are simple enough for a child to use, but they are also fast enough to race your friends and they have a long battery charge. Two things to keep in mind: 1) The motors don't work out of water, so you have to test them in the water. 2) Don't keep the batteries charging all of the time or you will shorten their useful life. (I learned that lesson with some other remote control toys.) We disassemble ours after each use to allow everything to dry out.

Toy is reasonably priced and is a lot of fun for children. Just remember that you can’t bring the remote control device into the pool — the boat has to be operated by someone outside the pool so that the remote control device does not get wet. But the kids really enjoy playing with it.
