im gone keep it simple, This is a really good flat iron . No complaints at all had it for a month now works way better than my $60 one. If you really just need a flat iron that works and does the Job this is it . I know i have seen some other reviews but come on now this is 99% better than a lot of these other ones especially for the price and if you looking for one to get really hot as well this one does. I ordered this after finally deciding that my old flat iron needed to be retired. The poor guy was held together with duct tape. This has been the perfect replacement. Several heat settings are great for my hair. My hair tends to be very hard to style because it doesn't like to hold any kind of styling. No matter what products or instruments, it almost always goes back to it's naturally wild ways within about 15 minutes. Not with this guy. I can style my hair and it will stay for at least the work day. If you have hard to style hair, and aren't completely fluent with hair instruments, this one is one for you. This product curls well but seems to burn white/ gray hair. Turned the temp down to 310 but it still burnt the white hair with a yellow brown color that can only be removed by growing it out and cutting it off. My regular (old) curling iron doesn’t do this so I don’t know if it’s what it’s made out of but it doesn’t curl well at temps lower than 310 ... show more

I have super thick hair and I was use to buy all the expensive straighteners, this one has lasted so long and the heat setting are still working and it heats up quick ! I will never buy another expensive flat iron when this one is available and does the job the same.

Pin straight hair. Smooth bouncy hair. Leaves hair laying nice, feels super healthy and thick. Very pleasantly surprised. It did have a plastic smell when I just started using it which scared me at first I thought would damage my hair. It did not. Really love how my hair looked and felt. If your looking for a decent priced flat iron that does it’s main purpose pretty well, this is your tool. Pros: Easy to read digital interface. Love the locking mechanism at the bottom of the handle. Getting to choose my own heat setting is pretty nice. Straightens and styles hair easily. Cons: Power and temperature up/down buttons are placed oddly on the device. I have occasionally turned up the heat and turned off the straightener on accident during styling. It is avoidable, but until you get used to it or unless you arecareful of the way you hold it as the buttons are easily pushed during curling. I don’t normally use straighteners. In fact, this is probably the first straight we I’ve owned since I was in my scene phase in jr/sr high. This one seemed to have a weird smell when heated up. Not necessarily revolting or obnoxious, but noticeable. Maybe it is the smell of the warm plastic. Overall, it does its job and would recommend for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on this specific type of product. ... show more
