The Remington Pro 1" Multi-styler with twist & Curl technology features unique twisted plates that guide hair to set bouncy curls, beach waves, or straight styles. The new and improved smooth glide design delivers a smooth glide as you style. It's perfect for color treated hair thanks to the heat control sensor, which prevents overheating for less damage and color fading. The ceramic titanium plates heat up fast to create a smooth glide. Find the heat you prefer for your hair type with easy- to-use digital controls and a range of five heat settings from 300 Degree to 450 Degree. Damage to color vs. Standard Remington straightener. IMPORTANT: To prevent accidental temperature changing, the temp control can be locked by twisting the dial all the way to the left and holding for 2 seconds (the lock symbol will appear on the display). When ready to unlock, you must again twist the dial all the way to the left and hold for 2 seconds. (The lock symbol will disappear and the temp control will work normally.) Use 300°F - 340°F (150°C - 170°C) for Thin/fine, damaged or bleached hair; Use 340°F - 410°F (170°C - 210°C) for Normal, healthy hair; Use 410°F - 450°F (210°C - 230°C) for Thick and difficult-to-style hair. For waves: Twist 180° and glide down. For curls: Twist and glide slowly. For straight: Glide without twisting.

    • Lightweight and gets hot fast
Good but could be better! It takes some practice to figure out how long to hold the iron to get the right curl / look. Directions are not that great so I watched videos on you tube.

    • Exactly what I needed!
For some reason I could never get the hang of curling irons and always curled my hair with a flat iron. Once mine finally gave up I looked up this one. The trick is to keep rotating the iron (watch out for the heat adjuster at the bottom) despite the online video instructions saying to only turn 180 degrees. I found my curls stay longer when starting close to the root and rotating downward from there until the hair strands slips out. Even with the heat at 380 degrees I found my straight thick Asian hair still stays in their curls for two days without hair spray. Usually other irons I have to go 400+ degrees 😭🫠 ... show more

    • Heats up, then temperature drops
When the temp display showed my selected temp of 410 I inserted a strand of my hair and waited the appropriate amount of time, removed the strand of hair and it fell flat. The display on the unit was showing in red with HC and temp 350. The iron was cooling. I unplugged the unit and plugged it back in. The outlet was intact. I waited and the same display, which looked like an error code to me, still displayed. Ive tossed the box so I guess I wasted $22. Im hugely disappointed! ... show more
