I’m really impressed with this flat iron, especially for the price. The 30-second heat-up is no joke—it gets hot very quickly, which is perfect when I’m in a rush. The wide 1 3/4" plates make styling faster since I can cover more hair in one pass, and it works really well on thicker hair types. What I love most is how smooth and sleek my hair looks after using it. The anti-static feature definitely helps reduce frizz, and my hair feels soft and shiny, not dry or stiff. I also appreciate the temperature control and the auto shut-off for safety. The only downside is that there was a slight smell the first couple of times I used it, but it went away after that. Also, since it’s a coated plate, I’m not sure how it will hold up long-term compared to more expensive brands but so far, it’s been doing a great job. I LOVE THIS! I got the 1/2” one, I have a thin layered emo hairstyle, it’s perfect to curl and for my short layers and straightens just as nicely! My betty bangs are so shiny and cute. I use to own the Chi Lava which short circuited during a power outage but I didn’t want to spend hundreds on a flat iron. This is such a bang for your buck! it’s digital, light, heats up fast. Loving the Pink iron blades with the black color! The auto shut off after an hr is a lifesaver too. I’m extremely happy omg GET THIS FLAT IRON! This flat iron heats up very quickly and has the option to change the temperature. The only issue I have is that I have fine, thin hair and I have to really squeeze the end of the iron to grip my hair while it's in there or it just falls out... I used it to give my hair a wave rather than using it to straighten. I imagine this would work really well for thicker hair but thinner hair beware. Keeping it, because I need it for immediate use for work, so I'll just get used to it. ... show more

I bought this exact flat iron in Walmart in 2014 and it lasted me until 2026! I have thick and slightly more corse hair. When it finally gave out, I wasn’t settling for any other flat iron.
