I’m really impressed with this flat iron, especially for the price. The 30-second heat-up is no joke—it gets hot very quickly, which is perfect when I’m in a rush. The wide 1 3/4" plates make styling faster since I can cover more hair in one pass, and it works really well on thicker hair types. What I love most is how smooth and sleek my hair looks after using it. The anti-static feature definitely helps reduce frizz, and my hair feels soft and shiny, not dry or stiff. I also appreciate the temperature control and the auto shut-off for safety. The only downside is that there was a slight smell the first couple of times I used it, but it went away after that. Also, since it’s a coated plate, I’m not sure how it will hold up long-term compared to more expensive brands but so far, it’s been doing a great job. I love it. Careful, heats quickly and gets super hot, but you can close and lock it after using so you won't burn yourself. You can also lock in your temp while using so if you mistakenly press the buttons during use it won't turn off or change the temp, which is a very cool feature! This flat iron heats up very quickly and has the option to change the temperature. The only issue I have is that I have fine, thin hair and I have to really squeeze the end of the iron to grip my hair while it's in there or it just falls out... I used it to give my hair a wave rather than using it to straighten. I imagine this would work really well for thicker hair but thinner hair beware. Keeping it, because I need it for immediate use for work, so I'll just get used to it. ... show more
