  • HOSE LOCATION at Head of Bed Also Compatible with Side-Hose Beds Using Included Connectors: The REM Air Chamber includes a 5-foot hose positioned at the head of the bed. For Sleep Number or other air beds with a side-mounted hose, use the included male-to-female connector to join your existing hose to the REM Air Chamber hose. Depending on your current hose length, this can extend the reach to run from the head of the bed along the side to your pump location. For side-hose setups, measure from the head of your air chamber to the pump location to ensure the combined hose length is sufficient. If additional length is needed, extra hoses are available separately.

All REM AIR System Chambers are double sealed with 1.23" seams for extra reinforcement and strength. Additionally, the kink resistant hoses improve the life of your pump and provide longevity and reliability. The Cross Box & Baffle Design of this air chamber allows you to be evenly supported from head to toe and side to side. Regardless of your sleep number level, you will be provided with ultimate comfort. The included REM Air System Quick Lock Connectors hook instantly into your pump, providing a tight seal. The easy connectors are equipped with a stop leak valve that allows you to disconnect the included heavy duty, anti-kink hose (3/8" ID) from the pump without losing air.

This item was perfectly flawless.... The mattress fabric feels at least twice as thick as the original mattress and it fit perfectly. No Issues. The hose and connection kit that is included was so ridiculously east to install. Just a note, one of the hose connectors belongs on the bed side of the hose and the other on the pump side. It would work just fine if they are reversed but if I understand correctly the correct bed side connector stops air from getting out of the mattress if the hose is disconnected. I'd recommend this product and I would absolutely buy it again if I ever needed to. I truly don't know what they could have done better. Keep in mind some beds and models may have different hose sizes that may need an adapter from a hardware store but it fit mine perfectly. Totally Satisfied !! ... show more

    • Fixed My Sleep Number!

Have a SN 20+ years. My side (of course) of the bed started losing air and then not level. Next a bulge in the middle. Need my SN but cost of replacement is expensive. Choice of this REM or $100 more for the OEM from SN's site. Will not buy a used mattress. The design is different from the OEM's and was a small concern. Swapped with defective bladder. Replaced the quick-connect connector on the SN's hose with the newly supplied connector. Attached the hose ends. Pumped to 50% then rezipped bed covers back. After making bed completely, pumped up to 80%. Mattress is holding air and flat and solid! Took a total of 15min to complete the replacement. ZERO difference from OEM mattress. Need a firm mattress and now I'm back in business!! SO nice to sleep again (2nd night on new). The new mattress is as "beefy" as the OEM. All materials look to be of upper quality and mattress is rock solid after 80% full. VERY pleased with purchase. Not sure if it will last another 20 years but as of now, perfect replacement for sleep number traditional air chamber. Very pleased with purchase. So happy with this purchase, no more flat bed problems. Sleep quality is much better now that the mattress doesn't go flat and I have to wait for it to refill with air again. As soft or as firm as you want and no air loss! This air chamber is of a much, much higher quality than the original Sleep Number. Weight alone tells you that as it is about 3x as heavy. Material is super thick and not thin like the Sleep number. Well worth the money spent. As far as installation, it was a breeze. Flip the mattress over, unzip the cover, unzip the side that is bad (queen), replace, attach adapter to new hose, partially fill, zip everything up, and flip back over. The new hose is not on the side and at the top or bottom whichever you choose. Mine is at the top and I made a slit in the cover to accommodate the new location of the hose. Sleep Number does have a warranty on the air chamber, but not for the house call troubleshooting. To me, this was a more economical route and I received a far superior air chamber. ... show more

    • Great replacement but weird odor

Air chamber fit perfectly. Installed easily. No more pumping up the mattress daily and no waking up in the morning in a hole. Only issue is the odor of the air chamber. It's a very strong weird smell. I hope it goes away. I took one star off for that. Otherwise good price and comfortable.

    • Made my old bed feel like new again!

This product is a lifesaver, if you don't want to purchase a new bed. I have a Comfort Aire Queen sized bed I bought back in 2010. I replaced the leaking air chamber with this new one and I love my bed again! Set up was a breeze and it fit to a tee. It did have a rubber odor out of the box, but it dissipated after the first night. I purchased the replacement pump from this company earlier last year and that also saved me tons, because it works great! Great products and great company!
