This is THE BEST purchase my husband and I have made in a long time. We were fighting with our HVAC about 5 years ago and couldn’t keep the house cool and paid $450+ in the summer. So we switched to three ac window units. That still didn’t keep the house all the way cool and our bill was still $300+ in the summer and those units only lasted 4 years until one broke. We just got our second power bill with using this ac and we saved $50+ on our power bill AND have a cold house! We’ve never been able to afford to keep the thermostat on 74 until now! We purchased this mini split in hopes of being able to keep cool. We had no idea it would be THIS efficient and actually save us money on our power bill! This thing is SILENT! Has a billion different settings and even has a humidity setting that pulls moisture out of your house! We had no idea it had a heater in it too! This thing out performs our hvac and window units. It was cheaper than a window unit also! My husband installed it himself in about 3-1/2 hours (including wiring it on its own new circuit, digging a trench for the new power line, a shut off switch box and covering the outside lines with trim.) Air conditioning works great. This is installed in my 26x36x12 insulated garage and the air part does great. Heat did fine until it got under 20ish degress which unfortunately I bought it primarily for heat. But if your main focus is a/c or you live where you dont see under 25-30 degrees then this unit is probably fine. ... show more
