This dumbbell is excellent. There are many things to like about it - first of all, it is true to its weight. I've seen quite a few dumbbells that aren't so - secondly, the construction quality is excellent. The plate area is nice and wide and that makes all the difference as you're able to hold it well - thirdly, the material used in the plates on either side of the bar is certainly cast iron, it has a lot of heft and is high density - lastly, the bar in the middle is threaded which is quite critical as it allows good grip the only reason why four stars have been given is because when it came, the box was already open though the product inside was undamaged.

I purchased a pair of the Relife sports 50lb free weights and really like the quality and overall construction of them. From my recent purchase of the 2nd weight to complete the pair I noticed there was a small gash in the rubber. I could have simply retuned it but after mentioning this issue with Relife Sports they were able to quickly work with me by reducing some of the price which worked out great for both of us. After searching through at least 20 different brands/types of dumbbells and reading about odor issues etc. I decided to buy these. Extremely happy with my purchase. Dumbbells are extremely sturdy, grip is metal with nice grooves to make it non-slip, they don’t roll away due to the shape of the rings, absolutely no odor and they look nice. They are pricey but worth the money if you value your piece of mind as you expect them to last a long time. Highly recommend them! Pity I couldn’t buy the 20 lb ones as these were not available when I purchased them.

The handle was making my hand itch after using only 30 minutes for some reason. I reached out to the company and without prompting they refunded my money and told me I could keep it and maybe find a work around for the handle or I could give away. These are really good dumbbells, they're like professional ones, they're narrow and the hexagon shape helps a lot, it would have been great if they had more sizes and weights available, they're very limited in that aspect.

I prefer these type of dumbbells instead of the rubber type you see everywhere. I love the grip and the ease of performing the exercises I perform such as arm curls, chest presses and lat work. It took 18 long months for me to find these due to the shortage of available equipment caused by the pandemic but it was worth the wait. I have the 15 and 20 pound sets. Very happy with them!

I have lifted heavy free weights for many decades and been in very many gyms over these decades. These dumbbells are the nicest dumbbells I have ever used! The dodecagon shape is my favorite, and the girth of the checkered grip is just perfect, and the rubber coating protects the floor. These are very nice, rubberized commercial quality weights. They are not cheap but that's because they are not cheap, if you understand what I mean. I bought a set of them from 15 pounds to 40 pounds. The biggest problem was shipping delays. They sort of trickled in a few at a time and over 6 weeks but the seller was very responsive and apologetic for the delays. I like 'em.
