    • Stylish | Hard to Read in Low Light
It looks good. Relatively cheap. It is hard to read in low lighting. If you need a reliable time piece to get the time without straining your eyes when it's darker inside or out, find something else. It's not bad otherwise. I was going to send it back but for 50 smacks, I kept it.

    • Beautiful watch... but impossible to read time
Bought this watch for the value. The pictures make it seem as though the watch face is a much lighter shade of green. Instead, it is much darker. And add in the black or very dark hands of the watch, and it is almost impossible to read the time unless you angle your wrist just perfect and under very bright light. Seems a rather odd design. Not sure how this one made it past quality control. Not being able to see the hands of the watch against the watch face seems like a rather important thing. ... show more

    • Great Design but Doesn't Hold Up
I generally like the weight, design, and overall accuracy of the watch, but there are several problems: 1) It's nearly impossible to read the time in low light. 2) On multiple occasions, the wristband pops out. It's an easy fix to make because nothing actually breaks; I just pop the pin back in. But it shouldn't be happening with this frequency. I try not to wear my watch too tightly - and it may just be an awkward fit on my particular wrist - but it gets to be a nuisance after eighth or ninth time. 3) Within about 4 months, the watch would randomly stop. When I reset the time, it would start up again. Figuring the battery was low, I replaced it and had the same problem within a few days. Not sure what accounts for this. 4) One of the larger marks (the one marking the 9) has come loose and has dropped to the bottom of the face. I want to like this watch because I like the design so much, but is simply hasn't been as durable as I'd hoped. ... show more

Looks like a $200 watch. Love the silicone band - super comfortable. Can't speak to internal quality but I'm hopeful as Relic is owned by Fossil (I do know Fossils customer service is good). Regarding the color and hard to see background, I'm not really seeing what all these other negative reviewers are. It's a dark faced watch - it's to be expected. Tilt it a little to read if the lighting is not right. Would by again and might buy one just for work. ... show more

    • Very Nice Looking, Much Darker Than The Pictures Would Imply
Update: wore the watch for about a week straight a month after purchase and the strap popped off my wrist (I don't wear it particularly tight, but must have flexed just too much). Broke when it hit the ground. Can't get another (see original review) replacement b/c too much time has passed. Original Review: It's a nice watch, I've been wearing it for a few days now. It's a very nice looking watch, but it's face is very dark making it almost impossible to read in dim/indirect lighting. Took a star off for the readability issues, but am otherwise satisfied so far. Note:: I did have to get a replacement, the first one came with a large chip in the glass right out of the box. No issues with the exchange so no ding to the rating, but I do feel the need to call it out. ... show more
