The rusty burnt orange color is absolutely gorgeous in person — a rich, warm rust tone with a soft velvet sheen that looks far more expensive than the price. I am absolutely in love with this rusty burnt orange velvet coverlet and sham set. The velvet fabric has a beautiful texture and the quilted pattern gives it a very high-end look. It lays nicely on the bed and instantly makes the room feel more cozy and styled. It adds so much warmth and depth to the room without being too bright. One tip that worked great for me: I used king-size pillows inside the full/queen shams. They fit perfectly and give the bed a much fuller, more luxurious look. Color Comparison: I also ordered the caramel gold and olive green versions to compare the colors. Seeing them together really highlights the differences. The caramel gold is a softer warm tone, the rust is deeper and richer, and the olive is a muted earthy green. I ultimately kept the rust because it worked best with my room. I added photos to help show the color in a real room as well as a comparison with the caramel gold and olive green versions. Seeing them together really shows how beautiful these colors are and how well they coordinate. This was a fantastic deal for my daughter's dorm room. Eight months in, and it still looks great and has maintained its softness. It's not super thick, but she says it's warm and has a comfortable weight to it. I was worried about caring for it because so many of the velvet-like fabrics don't hold up, but she just tosses it in to the washer and dryer at school like the rest of her bedding. She also loves the color.

Love love love this quilt. It’s very soft and has an elegant look to it. It’s a nice size on the bed and leaves some overhang on both sides. This is great if you are looking for something lightweight. It can easily be layered during colder months for more warmth. It doesn’t look wrinkly at all. It’s machine washable and can go in the dryer, I would recommend a medium or low setting.

Material Quality: Nice. Nice velvet texture and Nice blanket material for the inner side. Weight: I've never bought a quilt but this quilt seems pretty heavy. Bought it for my son's room (who's a hot box). Just in case it may not be warm enough for him, I bought him another light blanket to pull over himself (this blanket drapes over the bed). Thickness: perfect for what I wanted to do. Able to fold the quilt underneath the mattress and it not look bulcky or raise the mattress to high. Size: bought a Queen was perfect. Not too long & Not too short Smell: WASH BEFORE USING. Definitely smell like dye. Color Reflection: it's ok to the natural eye. I thought the velvety texture would reflect off the led lights; nope. Maybe I'll install some led lights around the boarder of the room and tryto capture the affect that way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Happy i didnt have to stick with black bedding in his room....the blue & gray seems to be a good balance so far, i try to keep my house as bright as possible for mood balancing purposes. Giving this product a 4 out of 5 because idk how warm you'll remain while sleeping (bought it for my son) but I will be redoing my bedding and buying another quilt ☺️
