I bought this dog crate and set it up on a low table to allow my dog to see out the window but keep her from hitting it and scratching it as I was concerned that eventually she was going to break it. I had a window seat in front of it that allowed her to look out but she ended up breaking my printer climbing onto it which was on the desk next to it and scratching the woodwork and the window itself. This crate is heavy and large. She is 42 pounds and has a lot of room in it but setting it on a heavy small table solved my problem and it looks nice as I have black file cabinets in the room as well. As you can see she can still look out but can't hit the window. You need 2 people to put it together and 2 to move it easily. The bedding did not come with it. I'm sure a much larger dog could be comfortable in it as well. Without the table she could not see out and she was able to jump on the top of the crate to get at the window. It locks easily although most of the time she is allowed to go in and out.

First and foremost, I’ve never had a positive experience assembling items purchased online because the bolt holes never align. I was astounded by how effortlessly this project came together. I built it alone and it was no problem at all. The packaging was exceptional and meticulously organized. The instructions were crystal clear and foolproof. It’s a bonus that the bag includes extra bolts, which I always appreciate. Initially, I was concerned about the size due to my two large breed dogs, but they fit perfectly. The construction is solid and sturdy. I’m thoroughly impressed with the quality, appearance, and overall value of this product. In my opinion, it deserves a perfect score of 10/10.

Growing up, the family dogs resided in portable crates. When I got my own place, I tried a wire crate for my fur babies—but let’s be honest, they’re not the most attractive. I bought a cover to make it look better, which helped a little, but it was still an eyesore. Eventually, I got rid of it altogether because one of my fur babies went over the rainbow bridge in 2021 so with my one fur baby she was well-trained and didn’t need to be crated anymore. Fast forward to February of this year—I rescued a Staffordshire Terrier puppy and realized I needed a crate again. I initially tried a soft travel-style crate I found on Facebook Marketplace, but she broke through the mesh screening within days. That’s why finding this crate felt like such a win. It’s sturdy, aesthetically pleasing, and has a flat top surface that functions like a small table. Plus, it comes in several colors. I purchased the black 38-inch size, intending it for the puppy—but my senior dog has claimed it. Honestly, she spends more time in it than the puppy does! Some standout features I love: • Double hatch opening for easy access • Strong, solid top that can hold small items • Metal legs to add felt pads to protect my apartment flooring when I move it around The only thing I wish this crate had is a compatible fitted dog bed—it would make the whole setup more efficient and complete. I hope the seller considers offering one in the future.

I have two small dogs and you would think that small dogs really don’t do much damage but I am here to tell you otherwise. Especially, if one of them is a puppy and naturally chews, behaving like a terrible two-year old. With that said, my chihuahua and pomchi mix (mom+son) both need to be crated, especially my pomchi puppy because he cannot be trusted whatsoever to be left alone. I’ve spent money on two previous crates that he’s destroyed, so this time I scoured the internet for various styles of dog crates, this time, steel. After reading countless reviews, looking at different styles and types, I came across this steel crate. At first, I was a little hesitant because the reviews are mixed, some good, some bad, much to the same complaint about the holes being misaligned during assembly, etc. After sitting on this specific style for several days, I looked at other options but kept coming back to this one because I like the look of it and its functionality, which is important. I decided to take a chance and bought this crate despite the reviews and I’m here to give you a helpful review should you consider this for yourself. As I’ve mentioned, I have two small dogs, but I personally do not like small sized crates because this just doesn’t work well for dogs with separation anxiety, or anxiety in general. Additionally, small size crates just irritate me because of a lack of space, so in my case, for both dogs, I bought the 42” size. Yes, you read that right - the largest option for two tiny dogs because space is important. Here’s the 411: 1. The crate is steel if you didn’t know, and heavy. I expected this, in fact, I actually expected some form of disappointment based on some of negative reviews I’ve seen but I have this product the benefit of doubt. Now, I live in an apartment and it fits perfectly in my limited space. 2. I chose the white/natural color because I really wanted a crate that wasn’t the typical black/brown or gray/silver colors. It’s much better looking in person. 3. Assembly was actually very easy but it does take 2 people to assemble it because in order for the holes to align accurately with the bolts and screws where needed, a second person needs to hold each panel piece steady to prevent misalignment. Additionally, you don’t want to fully tighten all of bolts/screws, just position them enough to hold the all of the pieces together; then collectively tighten all of the bolts/screws afterwards. Side note, it’s not impossible to assemble by yourself but it will be a little challenging so to make it easier on you, have someone help you. 4. The crate is very solid and my puppy cannot chew their way out of this one if he tried. No dog can really. PROS: I love this crate, the size I choose may be naturally big for others but for my two dogs, it gives them space to move around in, and it’s the best one I’ve bought. I love that the bottom floor is structured flooring making it more stable for dogs, and a huge plus for any owner who hates the cheap plastic potty trays for those boring metal crates. That alone was one of the reasons why I bought this one. It is more aesthetically pleasing and looks clean/chic, and I love the 3-door design, as well as the locking mechanisms for the doors that create such ease. And lastly, the adjustable legs is fabulous. CONS: In my honest opinion, there are none. Overall, my experience with this crate is a 10/10. My dogs love their new space. I bought a dog bed that takes up half of one side while keeping a washable pee pad and their food dishes for open access. So, if you come across this crate and find yourself curious or hesitant, take a chance. You’ll be glad you did. I think your only conflict will be choosing the color for you. Haha.
