I got the copper red and it is a little darker/brighter than what the picture looks like so it’s a little darker than my natural red hair color. This is a nice ponytail extension. The clip is easy to use. The hair is actually a decent quality and is soft. Does have the draw string at the back to make it a little wider of a net to hold the hair in. The wavy hair is nice and it doesn't look overly synthetic. This claw clip ponytail is just fantastic. I fits securely into the hair with a big claw clip and stays in place while doing everything from running after a toddler to cleaning house. It's super comfortable, I forgot I was wearing it several times because I often wear my own hair up in a claw clip to keep it out of my face. It looks great, too. The color I chose is a bit redder than my hair, so it's not a perfect match, but that's on me for choosing the wrong color. I'm a dark brown with copperish red highlights, this is a dark brown with dark red highlights. I still got lots of compliments. I loved that it came with an elastic ponytail holder for putting up my own hair before clipping it on, as well as a small pack of bobby pins to help keep everything sleek. The claw clip does not show at all, but the bobby pins can be used if you have short flyaways or to pin up the ponytail a little if you'd like. There's also a hair net to use for storing the ponytail when not in use. It was ready to go straight out of the package, just shook it a bit to tousle the curls. It looks very natural. It doesn't feel like natural hair much, but what rude person would come up and grope your hair? I plan to order another in a slightly different color to try to get closer to my natural shade, but this one still compliments me. Maybe I'll just dye my own hair a little redder to match! If you're on the fence about trying a ponytail extension just go for it! It's a fun change of pace without the time an expense of a salon visit. Some ponytail extensions are too long and heavy, so they can be uncomfortable to wear. This ponytail is shorter than others, making it very lightweight. I especially love the claw clip. It is so easy to just clip onto my hair! If you are clipping it over a bun, there is a little cap area under the clip with an adjustable elastic to secure it to your hair. The claw clip feels very sturdy. The hair on the ponytail is gorgeous! It looks and feel like real hair, but at a fraction of the price of real human hair! The waves on the ponytail are so beautiful! It comes with bobby pins and a hair tie, inside a little box. The ponytail is perfect for anytime you want to enhance and change your hairstyle, in just the few minutes that it takes to put it on. This clip-in ponytail extension is an easy way to change up your hair. Easy to install, just put your hair into a ponytail and put the clip on to cover the entire ponytail. It has a little pouch with a drawstring that you can put your regular hair into, but I have thick hair and there is no way my hair would fit in that pouch. But because this clip is so large and has so much hair, your normal hair will not show from under it once the clip is covering it unless you have super long hair. This extension looks pretty good for synthetic hair. The picture is with it finger brushed out. Once brushed with a regular hairbrush it would look more full and less beach-wavy. The “hair” is soft and nicely curled. I like the color variations between black and dark brown because it creates a perceived volume and seems a bit more natural. I’m not accustomed to wearing a tight ponytail and when this is clipped on it feels a bit too top heavy so I will need to experiment to find the right spot to transition from natural to extended hair without giving myself a headache. The clip is a little big but it seems sturdy and it probably is gripping tightly to prevent slippage. It’s a cute look, and it’s definitely cooler (temperature-wise) than wearing a full wig, so it will come in handy during the summer when your natural hair is looking a bit bedraggled or you’ve been out at the beach all day.
