Had some issues with setup and contacted customer service they walked me threw setup turned out card was corrupt so I went and got a new SD card that fixed it. They wanted to send me another one but seeing as I already bought one I asked about the polarized lens and she said to order one and they would discount it in place of the card. Was kind of skeptical because of some of the reviews. To my surprise it really does help with video quality like sunglasses for the dash cam, really cuts the glare. Also fits tight on the camera body no need to worry about it falling off. Crystal was very helpful threw the trouble shooting steps and for the lens. They really stand behind their products. Totally satisfied with the dash cam, hard wire kit and polarized lens. If you decide to go with the Redtiger products you won't be disappointed.     • The image quality is beautiful.
As a photographer, I didn't even bother trying this camera without the polarizer because I knew the picture would be best with it. I was correct. The image quality is fantastic with this polarizer.

    • Apparently not needed if you have a ceramic tinted front windshield
Bought this for my dashcam, but after installing it I discovered that it is not needed because I have a ceramic tinted front windshield. If you use it with the tint in place it causes distortion (like the ceramic tint does if you wear certain sunglasses in the car while driving - more like a color distortion). I found that the dashcam video shows better without this filter attached. ... show more

I got the camera on sale and I read the reviews watched all the videos and having this on my camera was an added bonus as I never have bad footage if I should need it. Definitely worth the extra money

I have 2 of the vendors dash cams and they so far work excellent!! I installed the lenses and it made a huge difference with the video image quality… I have one more cam to install and I recommend this item as part of installation!!
