I want to clarify some points that others reviewers have made. 1. Software does not come in the box, however, there IS an instructions sheet with the website address to download the free configuration software. 2. Windows Defender does not recognize the Redragon software, so you have to approve the installation and use... This does NOT mean it is a virus. 3. Every button on the mouse IS MOST CERTAINLY assignable. However, you have to "record" the new button (or combination of buttons), then assign the new macro (that's what a button recording is called), then apply the new setting. This is all done in the free software. 4. Redragon makes many peripheral devices, and EACH device has a unique download for the software. Make sure the download matches the device you have! Or it won't work. 5. If the software is too confusing for you, there IS IN FACT videos on YouTube that will walk you through the process. 6. If the mouse cursor feels "choppy", raise the polling rate in the software. It can be adjusted from 125-1000 mhz. The higher the rate, the smoother the cursor will respond. 7. The "mode" button on the bottom of the mouse switches between 2 "profiles" that you can create in the software. Every time you press it, it switches between the profiles. However, there is no indication of which profile is selected unless you open the software and look at the settings you have adjusted. 8. The mouse comes with a 2.4ghz wireless "USB dongle". This dongle has to be inserted in a working USB slot on your computer in order for the mouse to work wirelessly. 9. Size is subjective. Everyone's hand is different. This mouse may be too big, or too small for your hand. That's life. Overall: I feel that these mouses are the best "bang for the buck" there is. They have features and quality that match brands that cost 2-4 times as much. Yes, the software is a bit utilitarian, but it is fully featured. If this particular mouse does not fit your hand, than try a different model. They makes many mouses of many different sizes. You won't find a better mouse at this price point.

Just got this and thought I would leave a quick review. Obviously, I can't speak to the longevity or even the battery life yet. However, its safe to say that this mouse is an amazing value. I've already ordered an additional one to use as a productivity mouse at work. If you're looking for a comfortable mouse that has plenty of programmable buttons and don't want to break the bank, this is an excellent choice. Features: 1) USB-C connection. Comes with a nice paracord cable that has a velcro binder. 2 ) Wireless. And there is a place to store the wireless dongle on the bottom of the mouse when you're not using it. 3) 10 side buttons that are very easy to differentiate from one another. Unlike some other MMO mice, there is little chance of clicking any of them by accident. 4) 2 small buttons beneath the clickable scroll wheel that are also programmable. 5) There is also a profile button on the bottom of the mouse that lets you select between one of 2 onboard profiles. 6) Mouse is fairly comfortable in the hands. Optimal for medium to large sized hands. CONS 1) The software is very basic. I had to turn down the resolution on my monitor to even be able to see it clearly. You won't get the bells and whistles that you'd get from name brand mice. You can program keystroke macros, assign multimedia functions, control the LEDs, DPI settings and that's pretty much it. 2) The scroll wheel doesn't have left or right click, only middle click. 3) The mouse is on the large and heavy side, so wouldn't be a good choice for games that thrive with small, light mice. The price is unbeatable. I just purchased another one on a black Friday sale for $31. If all you want is a basic functional mouse that has loads of buttons with basic programming features, this does the job at a fraction of the price of the name brand mice.

It is a very nice mouse with its macro and key assignment. However, after using it for a while, there is something I noticed: the mouse cursor disappears every few days. When I unplug it from USB and plug it in, it works again.

I really enjoyed the mouse as it feels like it has a good finish, not excellent but good for the price. Also the rgb lights are nice and fully customizable. The buttons feel good to the touch and has given me a good experience in games like world of warcraft, overwatch, league of legends and also in my work and studies, among others. The only downside I had was that the program to edit the buttons and rgb lights stopped working for no apparent reason. However I contacted support and they sent me a replacement shortly at no cost.

I would've stuck with this mouse if it had some form of grip on it. It is honestly too slippery to be any good for high-action games. The mouse overall is great besides that. The app works, the extra buttons are fine, and despite it being quite large, it feels good in my hands. It just needs GRIP!

I'm a disabled Vet "Right hand and thumb." I spend a great deal of time on the computer writing and doing some light gaming. I need a large mouse with a good thumb rest. My trusty G602 served me for three years before passing away. A replacement was over 100 bucks, and the G604 just didn't feel the same. I saw the Redragon 811, it looked like it could fill the bill, and the price was right. The mouse arrived yesterday, and I love it. The programming software is the most user-friendly I have seen yet. Five stars and a well done to the folks at Redragon!!
