I bought this keyboard in Jan 2023. Loved it. Past tense. It works great, has just the right amount of clicking and was very responsive. This week, the 2.4g wireless mode no longer works. It works fine as long as it is plugged in. I believe it is fully charged, but cannot be sure as the led's aren't showing me what the manual says it should. I tried repairing it to the dongle in case something happened with that. No change. I tried reaching out to manufacturer product support (i'm outside the amazon return window by almost 2 months) from the "visit manuf website" link on the amazon page for my order. It took me to Redragonusa.com and a contact us form. I filled that out. I got an email from cs@challengerusa.com stating that they don't sell this keyboard. They asked for a screenshot of the order showing the seller - it says Redragon Shop. They said they cannot help and that I should contact the seller. I did some research. Challenger USA actually owns redragonusa. I found it on the redragon website. So I'm not sure how Challenger can say its not their problem especially when the redragon contact us page sends the email to THEM. I went to the redragon shop website and filled out yet another form. I also contacted Amazon to see what my options are. They gave me a link to contact the seller via Amazon, so i filled out that form too. I will update when/if I hear back. I hope redragon shop isn't as sketchy as Challenger seems to be - I dont know if Challenger owns them too or not. If they do, I'm probably screwed. To be honest, I really would like to keep using this keyboard. I love how it feels and responds...but I really do need the wireless to work. 4/19/23 update - So Redragonshop is awesome! They gave me a few things to try - reset keyboard, update firmware for example and I'm happy to report the keyboard is now working on wireless. They were very responsive to my questions. They did mention that if the things they suggested didn't work, they'd make it right with me. Very impressed with their support and very happy to have my keyboard working correctly! What a keyboard! Swappable switches saved a return because I ordered the wrong switches with the keyboard so I just swapped them out for the correct ones. Bluetooth, USB, and 2.4 Ghz all in one with full, customizable RGB? More of this, please. All of my main keyboards are Redragon but this is far and away my favorite one. Pricey? First things first, I'm not much of a gamer, so I can't speak to that experience. However, I type a lot for work and for fun and performance is a key factor for me. My first mechanical was a clicky Logitech, which I rather liked a lot, but I found myself gravitating more and more to the quieter switches. I've currently got Bullet QL switches plus dampeners to really keep things quiet. It can keep up with me (I type fast) without sounding overwhelming to others around me, it looks great, and the form factor is fantastic. I also like the multi connectivity (though I admit I've never used the 2.4GHz) and the option to go wired (and luckily USB-C) or not. The keyboard has been used on Linux (Ubuntu if you're counting), OS X, iOS, and Android. The battery tends to last long enough that I don't really find myself being aware of how long it lasts ;) When it does go back, the keyboard output gets kind of wonky and the red LED on the side that indicates power starts blinking, which I find a useful and reasonable indicator. As far as the keyboard itself, I've found using FN1 a reasonable way to get to those "missing" keys: function, arrows (on ASWD, which makes logical sense), page, insert/delete, home/end, print screen. It also works for backtick and tilde but I always find it a bit confusing as FN1+escape will provide both of those (you add shift to get the tilde). These characters are extremely valuable in the Linux command line, so I'm a little sensitive about it. That's a relatively small gripe given how much is jammed together in such a small space without doing weird stuff like having overly short keycaps. A compromise has to be made somewhere. As for the bad stuff: the stabilizers are a little loud, especially the space bar. This is a mod I plan on dealing with soonish and I'll update accordingly. If you run clicky switches, you probably won't even notice. Oh, and can't comment on the software as I've yet had the need to use it. Regardless of any negatives, the price is fantastic for what you get. If you're looking for a functional and still upgradable mechanical keyboard but you don't want to pay prices normally associated with more custom mechanical keyboards, this is a great way to go. ... show more
