So I first bought these for one of my RVs but unfortunately, could not use. The valances are wrapped with material and the adhesive wouldn't stick. However, I have several bedroom windows in my house that let in too much light through the curtains so I installed two of the shades behind the curtains and they work great! My first ever negative report. The adhesive is great and still attached, however, the shade has come apart from the adhesive strip. The string and mechanism still works but is not attached! It is useless but I can't return because the adhesive strip is still attached securely. The only way I can get it down is to cut the strings. I was so happy when I had it up and it worked three times up and down. Then about an hour later I heard a noise and found it in the position the photo shows. I have no idea whether or not I could pry the adhesive strip off without damage to my house so I'm stuck with no shade as I won't try this again. Pat South ... show more

Not bad at all! I needed some shades badly, I had ones that was just falling apart,super heavy, dirty & I couldn't get a blind company to come to my home without paying all kinds of fees and having to do more than one room, so I bought these. Make sure you have a really sharp knife tho, cutting wasn't easy but I managed. The color is perfect and I didn't want a total black out so these let in light, no glare, and great privacy. I looked into the house at night and you could see light filters but no bodies or anything in the house. So far the adhesive is holding but I might shore it up a bit. The shade itself feels very fragile so I'm a little cautious with it, no strings, just pull up or down. I love these. Just might get a few more for other areas in the house.     • Need a shape blade for clean cut.
We just got this in 5 mins ago. Super easy to put up. Just cut both sides the exact same to fit your space and peel back adhesive and apply. One of us held the top down while the other pulled the blinds down so it didn’t come undone while doing so. TIP. I also added three clear tacks to the top where the adhesive is. One on each corner and one in the middle (you can put as many as you like) I did this for Extra support. I live in Nevada and it gets 120 degrees so I am worried the sticky back will eventually lose its stick. I will update in a few months. Looks great though. I ordered the 60x64 and cut like .25 inch on each side. It’s not the easiest to cut through so have a super sharp blade. ... show more

I have bought a few of these without any issues. This was an extra wide one for a picture window, looked great. I like the color, installed easy and it doesn't look cheap. After 4 months the adhesive between the top frame piece and the blind 'fabric' released. I've some double-sided tape I'll attempt to repair this with, but it's disappointing. The blind doesn't get opened and closed every day. In fact, this was shortly after I fully opened the blind for the first time ever. 64in Length shade is too SHORT for 60in window. Picture shows maximum length shade will extend. Too bad😭. They look good enough to keep otherwise. Adhesive needs help. I added removable (I hope) Alien tape.

They are recycle material, flimsy at best. Basically cheap paper folded up with double sided tape on one end. Doesn't hold up to anything. If you must stick it there and never touch it again, it might then last a few months. Shipping is the worst I have gone through in all the orders I have dealt with in my entire life. The packaging is just as fragile as the item...of course, every one of the redi shade I order came all bent....called Amazon to explain the details of the damaging from poor packaging and shipping. The replaced all (a set of 5) and then all came bent again. Called Amazon again and they reordered it again at no charge to me and told me no need to return these item... these orders were originally order in early July. It's September and I am still dealing with the charges from every single order. Charged for every order including those ship poorly package x5 and the replacement x5. Within 2 days of installation the curtain fell, I had to buy better heavy duty double sided tape to get it to stay up. Then last night (3 weeks after purchasing) while we were lowering the curtain, the string that controls the shade broke on the left side, so it has to stay down all the time now.
