It will scare away coyote, deer, wolf, fox, racoon, skunk, owl and other nocturnal wild animals from your chicken coop, garden, farm, orchard, livestock and other areas.
  • Easy to Use: This predator deterrent light is easy to install and totally maintenance-free. Press the power button to turn "ON" the device, and mount the device 1 to 8 feet above the ground on a post, fence, or exterior wall according to the eye height of the predator you want to deter. For best results, use multiple devices to cover a 360-degree area.
  • Solar-powered: Redeo solar animal repeller is equipped with solar panels and a rechargeable battery, which can be fully charged in strong sunlight. Turn on the ON/OFF button on the back of the device, the two red lights will turn on at dusk to frighten predators and turn off at dawn automatically. It can save energy through its light sensor.

  • Racoons walked right up to it
Every year Robins build their nest under my balcony which is over the lower deck. This year my security camera filmed a raccoon climbing up the post overnight and pushing the nest onto the lower deck most likely eating any eggs. This has never happened before. This was the Robin's 2nd set of eggs for this year. I am hoping to protect any nests next year if the Robins dare to come back. I had high hopes for the devices given the large number of positive reviews with good results. It was very easy to set up, they work right out of the box. However, the first night my security camera recorded the raccoon walking up to both devices, sniffing and touching them. She left and an hour later brought her baby back. I need to find another way to protect any nests next year. So, unfortunately I have to return them. ... show more

  • Not for Racoons
Not sure these do anything. Bought them for a band of backyard bandits (Racoons), but they have no fear of them.

  • Seems to be working
They seemed to be working so far this spring. Had an issue with deer eating plants. Haven't had the issue since I added a set of 4.

  • So far no critters since these were installed
I had a problem with raccoons getting into my chicken pen. I have cameras installed so I can see any activity. Ever since I had these installed, I have not seen any critters in the area at all even though I have seen them elsewhere on my property.

  • It didn't bother our raccoons
I'm rating this as a 3 because it is easy to set up and charged fast. However, it didn't keep the raccoons away from our bird feeders. We tried several different set-ups and none of them worked to scare them and keep them from climbing up trees to get to the feeders. The raccoons here must not scare easily! ... show more

  • Easy to set up
Have a coyote visiting our yard every once in awhile. He always comes from the same direction and follows the same path across our driveway and into our front yard. So far I haven’t seen the coyote. Maybe it’s working. Fingers crossed! It was easy to set up. I got a strip of wood and put a screw into it and hung the device from the screw. I put both devices, facing the driveway, in two different places. Easy! ... show more

  • They work!
We’ve been tortured by a fox that wakes us up at 2am each night howling and screeching in our back yard. Safe to say he HATES our indoor/outdoor cat and is trying to establish his boundary. I get it, we live in the country and share our backyard with lots of wild things- I just don’t want him waking me up every night. The fox has been up on our deck repeatedly on our furniture, he has even peed on our deck a few times! Ugh! I saw these and thought I’d give them a try. We’ve had them installed now for 2 weeks….NO FOX interruptions at night. It went from every night to…ZERO. I’ve barely heard a peep out of him! He is staying away! Safe to say it has worked and is worth a shot if you also have a pesky fox. ... show more
