  • Compact and Sturdy Ladder for Effortless RV Maintenance!
The RecPro RV Telescoping Ladder 12.5ft Compatible with Lippert On-The-Go Prepped Units is a game-changer for RV camping and maintenance! This 13-step, heavy-duty aluminum ladder extends to 12.5 feet and collapses to a mere 34 inches, making it perfect for RV storage. With a 330-pound weight capacity, it’s robust enough for most users, and the rust- and corrosion-resistant construction ensures durability in all weather conditions. The pre-installed steel bracket seamlessly integrates with Lippert On-The-Go ladder receivers, providing unmatched stability when attached to my RV for tasks like roof cleaning or awning adjustments. Each 1.5" x 13" step features raised treads for slip-resistant traction, and the rubber-treaded feet keep it steady on level ground as a freestanding ladder. Extending and collapsing is smooth—steps lock automatically with audible clicks, and push latches make storage a breeze. The included strap keeps it secure when collapsed, fitting easily in my RV’s compartment. My only minor note is that it’s slightly heavier (around 23 lbs) than some ultralight models, but the trade-off for its sturdiness is worth it. Compared to bulkier options like Little Giant, this ladder’s compact design and Lippert compatibility make it a better value (around $150–$180). For RVers needing a reliable, space-saving ladder for maintenance or general use, this RecPro model is a top pick! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Couldn't ask for more!
Great value for the money. Heavy duty, I am 250 lbs and it feels stable and safe. I truly couldn't be happier. It is compact enough to carry in our ass through and not take u much space. Locks in place perfectly. Easy to put up and take down and is versatile.

  • Good ladder and has the parts to work with the Lippert On-The-Go system
A big plus is that it is significantly less expensive as the Lippert ladder while providing the same functionality. It is sturdy, but it also is pretty heavy. It has to be I guess to provide for the collapsing into the small size for travel. Extending is easy and once extended, it is not hard to maneuver into position to lock into the On-The-Go bracket. Collapsing is a bit more difficult. I have arthritis in my hands so pushing those buttons to collapse the ladder isn't as easy as it would have been when I was younger. There is also the risk of getting a finger in the way of the rungs as they collapse. One needs to exercise caution to keep fingers out of the way. It does need to be used on level ground. It would be nice if there were an independently extendable part in the bottom section to allow use on uneven ground. That is perhaps the one improvement I would suggest. Other than that, the strap used to hold it for travel is not well thought out. It is in the way when the ladder is in use. It would be better if it were separate so it could be out of the way when the ladder is in use. ... show more

  • Works well and costs less than the name brand
Works as intended. It will bow in the middle when you're on it it when fully extended, but it's sturdy enough that it's not a structural integrity concern. Works perfectly with my trailer that had the pre-installed ladder hook attachment. Much more stable than using a household ladder without the hooks. One star off because it doesn't slide quite as easily as it should back into the compact mode - it may take a few extra taps of each rung to get it down. ... show more

  • Great sturdy weight bearing ladder
My new rig has the lippert ladder attachment bracket. This was a cost effective substitute for the brand model ladder. Not lightweight (solid construction, heavy duty, weight supporting). Easy to hook to the rig, felt solid going up to the roof. Happy I can access the roof without having to use an a frame ladder. Love it folds down to smaller size to fit in the pass through. ... show more

  • Great Ladder
Great option to the Lippert ladder and fits perfectly into their system. Also, it’s a lot less expensive.

  • Best Ladder for RV
This ladder is the bomb! Extremely well built and does not flex when fully extended. Works great on our RV. I being 71 yrs old even feel comfortable climbing up to get on roof of RV. Well done RecPro!

  • Every bit as good as name brand
My RV came prepped for a Lippert ladder. After the shock wore off from seeing the cost of the name brand, I found this one. It works perfect! $100 less than the name brand and every bit as good. Collapses small enough to be stored in an average size passthrough and takes up little room. Note, all of these type of extension ladders have some flex when they are fully extended and will pinch your fingers if you are not careful when closing them. Be prepared for that. ... show more
