    • High level of audio output
I got this turntable as a surprise for my parents as my mom has a vast collection of vinyls and nothing to play them on. They were pretty surprised and excited about it. I really like the retro/vintage look of it, the ease to use it, how light it is and the volume level is fantastic! I have no need to attach any external speakers. But there is a downfall at least with the one that I received. Everytime we put on a vinyl it wobbles and therefore the songs are skewed, out of tune and played slow. We tried a few vinyls and all were the same. The 45s were a bit better due to size but the table is not stable. Upon investigation I realised that the entire mechanism is not firmly set in the housing unit. It has popped out a bit especially the side with the lever arm and needle. Therefore this is what is causing the vinyls/records to not play properly. I held down the more popped side with the lever to stabilise it and put on a vinyl to play and it worked much better then. But I cannot be expected to do this each and every time and to have to stand there whilst a vinyl is playing. I tried to figure out a solution but nothing has come to mind. It is a bit disappointing as I bought 2 turntables at the same time including this one and this one was preferred due to the volume level and look within the decor of the room. ... show more

This turntable has been a great one so far. My daughter has really enjoyed listening to her newly acquired vinyl collection. The sound is adequate for its size and it is a “vintage” turntable as on some of her albums that’s what the sound, sounds like. The price was a fair price as well. All in all this has been a good one for us and would recommend it to others. ... show more

    • Good little turntable
Got this for a gift for someone who is new to vinyl and this is a great little system. The faux wood in the dust cover gives it a great vintage feel. Love that it has a built-in speaker! The sound quality is perfect for this style as it sounds nice and “crispy”. It’s light weight and the needle locks into place so it’s easy to transport between rooms, take to a friends etc. The anti-shock is also a great modern feature. Also doubles as a Bluetooth speaker which is cool – and helpful to give you a taste of what your modern albums would sound like on vinyl if you’re considering doing this. Only wish you could connect to a Bluetooth speaker to listen to your vinyl elsewhere in the house-it’s not possible as-is and the instructions are misleading as you can’t transmit out to Bluetooth, only in. But with the audio setup On the back of the system it’s easy enough to purchase a Bluetooth dongle to set this up so still doable (just for an extra cost). Only complaint is that the record wobbles as it plays. I don’t think this has had any effect on the play (is this the anti-shock? Unsure ). Really doesn’t bother me though. Overall, love this system and have listened to it every day since Christmas! If you’re looking to get into vinyl or give a player as a gift, this is a great alternative to the suitcase – style systems you see (which I personally didn’t want).     • Switch Auto-Stop off and it’s great 👍
I’m no audiophile, but I do care about how my vinyls sound; so I appreciate this turntable. I own a dozen LPs and a few score 45s; both types of records play smoothly. The needle is generously sensitive. When I use some external speakers, the sound quality is exciting. With Auto-Stop switched on, the turntable will often stop before the end of the side of any 45 record is over. I switch Auto-Stop off and this solves my problem. Be aware that the Bluetooth function lets you send audio to play through the turntable’s speakers, but the turntable will not send audio to play through Bluetooth connected speakers/devices. This disappointed me, but some users may find it pleasing to play music through the turntable’s old-fashioned, dearly tinny speakers. Also be aware that the Bluetooth function will sound a brief tone whenever the turntable is switched on or the turntable stops. With auto-switch switched off, the tone is only sounded when the turntable is switched on, saving me further potential annoyance. My turntable’s needle arm was initially slippy when I put it up, but as I used the turntable more, the slipping ceased. ... show more

    • Pretty Good for the Price & for Beginners. But Beware of Wobbly Tray!
The media could not be loaded. I've had this record player for about a month now. My grandma had recently given me a bunch of her old records and I needed a way to play them. This record player was the winner as it was relatively cheap, cute, and I didn't need anything special in a record player as a beginner user. When I first opened and tried using this record player, the tray was super wobbly and caused some weird distortion in the sound output, as several of the other reviews state. This occurred consistently across 10 different records and was particularly noticeable on any sort of sustained note. However, from what I've read, I think this trait can crop up in any record player regardless of the quality. I was actually about to return the player but ended up pressing on the tray, trying to make the entire player more level, etc. and I'm not sure what happened or if anything I did really had an impact, but the wobble became less severe and the sound output was totally normal. I ended up keeping the player and it's worked great for my purposes. I use it quite regularly now and it's holding up well. The speaker is okay, but I wasn't really expecting anything stellar for the price. ... show more

This is my very first record player!!! For a beginner it’s perfect for me. It has three speeds so I can buy any size vinyl I want! It has a built in speaker and The sound quality is pretty good. I only used two new vinyls so far I am not sure how it will play used records. The one con I found and I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be this way because it’s my first record player, the arm deck is loose and can push down very easily. It may be that it’s normal for record players to do this though. I like that it comes with a cover for the needle as well. The arm automatically sets down on the record which is also nice. All around this is a decent record player for the price, and great for beginners!! ... show more
