This is a great record player! I researched turntables online and this was well rated, and I can see why. Simple to use. Comes with a needle cover and a spare needle. The needle arm has a lever for easy raise, and lower. There is a option for auto spin, which starts turning the table once the needle arm is over it...flip the arm lever forward and it carefully drops the needle. Plays all 3 sizes of records. I feel like the sound is good on it’s own, but it can also be plugged into a receiver through the line out on the back of the player. I love the color and overall look of the turntable. However, the audio was very static. I’m not entirely sure if it was because the needle was bad or it was the record’s fault, but it kept on skipping on the audio. The speakers were ok. Even my portable HarmonKardon speakers were much better. Either way, the main problem with the speakers is that I don’t think they can handle bass/treble very well. The power cord for the turntable was also quite short. I needed to use an extension cord in order to reach a power outlet. Overall, maybe it’s best made for classical 80s music, but don’t use it for modern day music because the speakers can’t handle it. ... show more

It’s a nice little record player. I got it as a gift for my elderly mom and if she can figure out how to operate it then anyone can. I recently found bunch of records of classical music and she wanted to listen to them. They’ve been packed away for 20+ years. The sound quality from the built in speakers is good. I haven’t tested any other functionality yet including Bluetooth connectivity but for just playing the records it’s a nice little unit that does the job beautifully! I received this turntable in two days and in great condition. Turntable looks very nice. It comes with two needles and a power cord as well as a cord to plug it into your computer, it's a USB It also comes with a program on disc to record and edit recordings. I bought one of these last Christmas for my sister who has never used a record player. She seemed to figure it out quickly and loves it a ton. I hear her playing it constantly and since owning it she’s become an avid record collector, which makes me really happy that she enjoys it so much. The sound is great. Very nice looking record player. It does sound a bit tinny with the built in speakers. I’m thinking if you get a better quality speaker to add it would help. It Does NOT have an automatic return which I read in the questions it did. That is one reason I went for this record player. ( I bought the brown wooden player).
