I love this recliner! It's not motorized either. It just has a little lever on the side to open the foot rest. You have to leg it to snap the footrest back into place. This can be hard to do for someone who doesn't have a lot of leg strength. Other than that, everything is great. I read the reviews before buying this item; people stated being frustrated because they did not know pieces were stored under the seat. First thing I did was remove the extra pieces from underneath the seat; made this process feel hassle free. Setup was pretty easy and fast; it took me about 20 mins. The vibrating massage is good. The heat works amazing. I don’t want to move from the seat. 😴 I gave it a 4 star.. well because when the seat is vibrating, it sounds loud; I give it a 4 out 10 in terms of loudness; some people may find this soothing, while others may not. The chair arrived earlier than expected. My mom has been unsteady on her feet and tried using other recliners but she didn't have the strength to retract the footrests so we repurchased the power recliner. She said the chair is very comfortable and she loves it. But I would like to share that you need to accept that the assembly of this chair may take you 1-2 hours (After all, it is less expensive than other recliners), I had a few questions during the assembly process and the seller responded quickly every time. Took about an hour for one person to assemble. It was a little difficult for one person to assemble the handrail, but it was doable. I really like the built-in heat and massager because I don't have to worry about a separate heating pad and cord, and the massager helps with my sleep disorder!
