I originally gave this one star but have adjusted my opinion. The company sent me a new one and had the same issue. The batteries were suppose to be good ones , but we’re not. I got some different ones and the light works very well. Would recommend to everyone!

Since my front porch was not electrically wired for an overhead light, I needed a battery powered ceiling light. Although I already had another battery powered light mounted, this new light was much brighter (see attached photos) Besides having a very high capacity battery (7000mAh), the light output is relatively very high (500 lumens). The produced light is very white at 5000K. Activation worked fine even with the light being mounted 13 feet high. Although installation was simple, I had difficulty fully attaching the light to the bracket due to a very tight fit. So in order to have the light mounted squarely on the porch ceiling, it was necessary to shave off a bit of the plastic on the connection parts of the bracket. ... show more

    • A Good Quality LED Motion Sensor Light With A Powerful Battery

The media could not be loaded. This is a well-built, good quality 500 lumen LED motion sensor light with a very powerful 7000mAh rechargeable battery. The light temperature is a pleasant daylight 5000K. It has two operating modes: (i) when the light will turn on in the presence of ambient light if it senses movement and, (ii) when the light will turn on when there is no or very low ambient light if there is movement. The light will automatically turn off 20 seconds after movement ceases. The mode switch is a little hard and sometimes you do not know in which mode the light is. The battery is charged through a USB-C port using the provided cable. Be aware that it takes some 12 hours to fully charge this battery, when a red (charging) light will turn green. I even thought that I had received a lemon with a faulty battery, but finally the red light turned into green. This light is especially useful in stairways (where I am using mine), closets, basements and other similar areas. I highly recommend this LED motion sensor light. ... show more

    • Super Easy to Install and Operate - Looks Great in Use
We have a dark spot at our entryway where the lights from the hallway don't quite reach. For us, this is a perfect solution, because we don't have to leave it on all the time, but it allows us to walk in from the garage without walking into the dark. Sometimes at night, we need to do laundry or go out to the car, but we don't want to turn on the hallway lights and potentially wake up the kids. With this motion sensor light, we can see our way around to get in and out of the garage or front door, but we avoid disturbing anyone who may be sleeping. Also, because it is sensor-based, we don't have to worry about wasting electricity or accidentally leaving it on. It turns on and kicks off all on its own. The light quality is nicely balanced, and a bit on the cool side. It isn't super cold like some of the clinical looking LED lights I've seen before, but it is a clean, white light That makes it easy to see your way around. Installation is super easy. It comes with everything you need to get it secured to the ceiling in just a few minutes.     • Very good sensor. It is bright!
This is a very good add on light, for any dark area. It's easy to charge and provides ample light of about 60-70 watt bulb. What I love the most is that the sensor gives you an option to activate the light when it is dark but also when there is light. That means that even when there is light and you walk in to the area the light illuminates. I used it on a closet that during the day is not dark, but needed the light to see around and this works great! It has a base that attaches tot he wall and when you need to remove the light to charge it you simply twist it off. It charges quickly with a USB C cable which is provided. The twist base was hard to remove as it has 4 notches that locks the light into place. I filed the notches slightly, and it is easier to remove. I've been trying to find a rechargeable LED light to use in a cargo trailer. I've sampled various LED strip lights and under counter bar lights and have been underwhelmed with their brightness. Out of about a dozen different rechargeable LED lights, this Moragin light is far and away the brightest light. The picture here shows a few of the different rechargeable LED lights I've compared it against. The Moragin is the largest (and brightest) light in the middle. You can see that it is substantially larger than the other lights, in particular the under counter bar lights and that obviously helps it cast a lot more light. What you can't really tell from the image is how much brighter the Moragin is but it is bright enough that two of them will light up an area where I was expecting to have to install 4 lights. Needless to say, I'm returning the other inferior lights and buying another one of these to complete my project. ... show more

This is a good light and detects motion well. This particular light does light up well but may not spread the light as much as other models on the market. If you are looking to light up a small area such as a closet this will work great for that application.
