So far, I have only used them on low. It hasn't been terribly cold yet and not a lot of snow so far here in northern michigan. We only use them with our walk behind snow blower. On low they are nice and warm. Haven't tried medium or hot as I haven't needed them. In fact, I find them to be very warm with the heat off as well. Great gloves. *read updates at bottom* I bought these because I work in a freezer all day. It's typically about -10. My fingers didn't feel like they were going to fall off. I was comfortable and I was in there for about 6 hours. These gloves kept my hands warm so I was able to work. I kept them on medium and the first round of batteries lasted about 3.5-ish hours. I recommend having a second set of batteries charged and ready if you'll be using them like I am. I also sized at a medium but bought a small. I'm glad I did. They fit perfect. They're a little bulky but I can still control my lift no problem. Update 2/7/24 These still work nicely, however I use them mainly on high and the batteries last maybe 1.5 hours. I rotate through probably 4 sets of batteries within an 8 hour shift (but I'm not in the freezing section 100% of the time). If you do a straight 8 hours in freezing temps you'll need more than 4 sets of charged batteries or a place where you can charge and rotate the sets you have. I keep my charger at work and always have charged batteries on-hand. Some days feel colder than others and on those days these gloves just make it so my fingers don't feel like they're going to fall off. I have noticed the past couple days one of my gloves seems to start flashing quicker than the other indicating my battery is running low. They have become really easy to control my lift with. I switch to other thinner gloves when I need to throw boxes or use a pen out of the freezing temps. Overall I'm still happy about my purchase. Update 5/4/24 I just contacted the company asking for replacement gloves. They have both stopped working after 6 months. Update 6/16/2024 Their customer service is amazing. Really hate giving a bad review but here it is. I have kind of bad circulation so my fingertips always get cold when I go skiing. I was so excited last year when I ordered these. I used them one time last season and then broke them out to use again this year. I charged up the batteries at home the night prior to our trip. Unfortunately, one of the gloves seemed to have a short, the light on the back of the glove was shoring on and off and of course, no heat was being generated. So sad, might need to find a more reliable manufacturer. ... show more

    • Mixed feelings about them
Definitely these gloves keep my hands warm. And I'm very happy to have found a size that fits my hands (XS). Two negatives for me are 1-the 'look' of them. They look like ski gloves. I wanted to find a solid black color. 2-The batteries are located inside the wristband of the gloves. This makes the wristband area too bulky to fit underneath the sleeve of my coat yet not wide enough to fit over the wrist area of my coat. So as a result of this conundrum, I walk around with my coat sleeve scrunched up and the wrist band area of the gloves scrunched as well, all of which pushes the gloves forward on my hands which means my fingers don't get the heat from the end of the finger portion of the gloves and I have to keep pushing the gloves down onto my fingers while I walk. Not a good 'look', not a comfortable 'feel' or effective fit. I haven't returned them because I suspect finding other gloves --perhaps with the batteries located inside the top side of the gloves would not be possible. And, the only solid black electric gloves to fit my hands are glove liners which are not waterproof or windproof so I'd need to purchase another pair of gloves to wear overtop of the electric liners so I'd have the added bulk around the wrist once again. ...sigh.... Hopefully these companies will be motivated to take the next step in their R&D departments and create a thinner battery, perhaps in a better location and also design gloves that are attractive to women not just when they're out skiing. If I get a chance I'll post photos to this review so you can see what I've tried to describe. ... show more

I have neuropathy.. which means my hands get numb very quickly in the cold. These gloves work great. I set them on high all the time but my hands stay toasty warm. The only problem would be sizing. I have the xxxl size and they fit perfect. I don't have large hands. A regular large would be for baby hands. ... show more

They checked all the boxes. Good quality and weather resistant. The gloves seemed focused on keeping the Fingers warm, as opposed to a hand warmer. Fingers are important. They hold their own for comfort and warmth without the heating activated. There are three settings. I took the glove off after walking in 20's on a windy night, and was surprised at the difference. Physically comfortable. I do have to say, that the instructions are very small, and at first I thought they didn't work, and I was grabbing the boxes to ship them back. But, I discovered one must hold the red button down on top of the back of the hand for over two seconds to activate, and to turn-off. ... show more
