In those 13 years this has been my favorite device in terms of genuine thought and care put into the design. The charging case with the slip proof bottom and mirror that truly holds several charges before it needs recharged blows my mind as they easily connect for charging without any flickering wonder of weather or not it’ll be charged for me to hear again for another day. The hearing aid is light and the sound cancellation is on point, feed back is to a minimum and instead of squealing painfully in your ear it sends more of a muffled reverb sound, which for people wearing hearing aids even laying on a pillow can be intensely unpleasant, I’ve had hearing aids that even my hair would set it off. These are so much better. The sound is crisper, but modifies if things are too loud where most hearings amplify one and all noises even with noise canceling. A well deserved five stars. These are very finely made hearing aids, top of the line! They come with a charging case that will boost the total usability time of the aids to a whopping 210 hours (can fully charge both aids 5 times!!!) Hearing aid pieces and the charging case both have magnets and when you place the hearing aids in the charger they pop into the proper place. It takes several hours until the green charging LED stops flashing and lights up solid green (note that blue LED color means low battery level). After charging, the hearing aids can be used for approximately 35 hours non-stop, i.e. more than enough for a full day. The charging case will let you recharge them for an additional 175 hours without being connected to an external USB charger. This is absolutely great for travel where you don't always have access to a USB power supply. The accessory includes six sizes and shapes of ear-tips, one of which was the same shape as used in super expensive hearing aids. Also, you will find a USB charging cable that plugs into the charging case. The device is very lightweight and fits well behind the ears and is almost invisible. The weight of the hearing aid is so light that you hardly feel it while wearing it. A small transparent wire connects the amplifier to the small in-ear earphone. The amplifier has two microphones, a device volume, and mode controls on one side. The hearing aids have three modes (normal, noise reduction, and outdoor) that you can switch between to better suit your situation and hearing conditions. The left and right hearing aids work fully independently, so does the volume control, which might be not very convenient if you need to adjust the volume of both sides together, but that's a minor issue. Detailed instructions and color illustrations for the use and care of hearing aids are included. So, let's summarize. It's lightweight, much cheaper than others, has noise canceling, and is very responsive and provides excellent sound reproduction. These hearing aids sound a little more "mechanical" in a sense at first than others I've tried, but once you get used to it, it gets less and less noticeable. It has a dual mic for better sound pickup at different frequencies that work well. When I tried these hearing aids while walking in a city and in a forest, I was surprised to hear high notes and small whispers that normally you wouldn't be able to hear at all. As we get older, our ears pick up low frequencies but lose the ability to hear high frequencies well. Thanks to this accessory, you can hear a wide spectrum of sounds that you may have unknowingly missed. In general, I'd say that these hearing aids deliver superior sound reproduction compared to other ones I tested. *** TL;DR *** Yes, I most definitely recommend these hearing aids. If you have hearing loss and are hesitant to buy expensive medical grade hearing aids because of the cost, buy these now. If you currently use hearing aids, I recommend purchasing them as backup hearing aids. The charger is small enough to take with you on your travels. If you are worried about wearing expensive hearing aids when hiking or gardening, then put these on instead. I think these are worth every penny, and unless you have severe hearing loss, I think this will solve your hearing problem in most cases. So far so good with this set of behind the ear aids. Don't even notice them behind my ear, although the domes tickle so hoping I get used to that soon. Great to have the volume and mode change available with the buttons, the screwdriver approach with my other pair was annoying. Going to test the noise cancellation tonight out at dinner but at home, those modes cancelled out the clock ticking sounds of two clocks in the room. Only supposed to have 3 modes but when I went through them, I had a four beeps mode and no clue what that is for?? So far I can't really tell the difference in the volume settings but I may just need to use them more and see if that changes. For the price, these aids give you more versatility, more options to help your hearing, and are less noticeable than the versions that have the whole unit completely in your ears. ... show more

This helped my mom immensely. She cannot afford hearing aids through insurance so I was desperate to see what other options were for her. She was to the point where when we’d be out eating together, she could t hear me or the waiter because I’d background noise. I felt she was often lost or seemed confused and I wondered how much was due to the fact she had lost hearing. She tried these and immediately told me she could hear things in her house, like her cats rustling around, or birds chirping.
