This is a great product. If you're thinking about whether or not to buy a foam mattress, try buying this mattress topper for much less money. This provides most of the comfort of a foam mattress, which I have plenty of experience with from staying in Marriott hotels, which have foam mattresses. I'm giving this only 4 stars instead of 5 because, as pointed out in other reviews, it's a bit hot after a while to sleep on--but that's true for any foam mattress or foam mattress topper. This one is as good as any. Some people mentioned an odor. I didn't notice any such odor. Just in case, I waited until the morning to open the package, and then left this on the bed all day to air out. This is shipped with a razor knife with a nifty geometry to prevent accidentally slicing the mattress topper when opening the packaging--much safer than using a standard box cutter. I'm giving this only 4 stars instead of 5 for pain relief, comfort, and softness because I don't have pain, I mentioned comfort already above, and it's nice and firm--not too soft and not too firm--just right.

I was concerned that it would be squishy at first but as time went on,it did firm up. Last night was first time I did not toss and turn from back and hip pain. I also awoke with no aches and pains. Hoping it continues to feel as good for many nights to come

I bought a king size 2 inch egg crate mattress topper six years ago, (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0089ME0ES/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1). That thing is super comfortable. It was like buying a new bed. However, after six years, it has changed to an ugly yellow color for some reason, and it no longer felt as firm. I should have just bought another egg crate but I decided to try something different. After reading dozens of reviews, I decided on the RECCI 3-inch. The reviews seemed too good, so I assume many were fake. I ran the reviews through the Fakespot dot com site and they judged the 200+ reviews legitimate, so I was sold. When the topper arrived, I unrolled it and left it on the hardwood floor in the guess room for two days to make sure it was fully expanded. It came with a nice cover already installed. Before putting it on the bed, I walked on it to see how it felt. My feet sunk all the way to the hardwood. That seemed too soft but I didn't think much of it since I don't sleep standing up all that often I was looking forward to sleeping on it but was disappointed at how soft it is. If I sleep near the edge of the bed I don't sink down as much, but I prefer to sleep near the middle. I don't think my weight is the problem. I'm a well-proportioned 200 pounds. Maybe it's just better for lighter people or those who like it soft? I would send it back but I don't know where I would find a "refrigerator size box to stuff it into, so I'm stuck with it. I will order another egg crate today. The material seems to be solid all the way through, so I think I will cut the RECCI down to queen size and put it on the bed in the guest room. BTW, regular king-size fitted sheets will not reach down to the bottom edge of the mattress with this 3-inch topper on the bed. OMG!! I have had back pain for the past 3 years and it has only gotten worse. I could actually feel the tufting spots on the brand new Sealy Posturepedic mattress! Ugh. I was getting desperate. I researched for weeks to figure out the best mattress pad. This was a Prime Day deal, so I figured I would try it, why not. Well, let me tell you. I received it on a Saturday and opened it. The zippered cover is fabulous. There was no smell to the mattress at all. I let it "fluff" for a little over 24 hours, and then put it on my half of our king-size bed (I could not wait 48 hours - I really wanted to SLEEP). I absolutely love it. It is like sleeping on a cloud. I was out cold within 20 minutes. Sleeping (actual good sleep) on it for a bit over 2 weeks now. Now I want to buy one for each of the spare beds and the painful IKEA futon in the living room. Hubby is good on his very firm side of the bed. I love my RECCI cloud.

We think this is a great memory foam mattress pad. It inflated overnight and evenly. Slept on it just a couple of nights now. It’s not a soft pad that you sink into and has some firmness. If that makes sense. Mattress pad seems to offload pressure on joints. My hips and low back are more comfortable in bed.
