I needed a rack that would sit higher up on my comfort bike that has large wheels. This was easy to put together and fits perfect! I would say it is rated right for weight. I wouldn't put a ton of weight on it but it's sturdy for what I need.

Nov. 2023. 1st day, install review. Overall easy to assemble, and install. Seems to be decent quality. Came in a flat box. 5 pieces total. plus Allen style screws. Extra screws included. 2 Allen keys. 1 small wrench. All tools fit the hardware properly. Also came with a square shaped bungie mesh with hooks. The silver colored long parts that connect the rack to the bike under the seat were 14 inches long. Also included a red reflector, that you have to screw onto the back of the rack. All pieces came in their own plastic bags, to keep them from scratching. The only extra tools I used (not required) were a level, to make sure the rack was parallel to the ground, and a small mallet to push the rack into the proper leveled position. But this can be eyeballed and pushed with your hands. the rack came with all the tools one really needs to assemble and install it on the bike. The rack has to be assembled first. Then installed onto the bike. Rack assembly took me 10 mins tops. Rack install on bike took me about 45 mins. The rack fit my Large sized, 29 inch wheel, mountain bike just fine. With room to spare on all adjustable parts. I only had to extend the piece that connects at the bottom, near the axel of the back wheel, one notch, or one hole. I could also extend it to the 2nd hole if I wanted the rack to sit a little further up from the back wheel. And there would still be 2 extra holes to extend it even higher. One issue that did happen to me is that those 2 silver connector bars that go from the bottom of the rack to under the seat, bent more than desired and started touching the top of the tire, just under the rack. I had to use some screwdrivers to bend them back up so they stay closer to the bottom of the rack. Due to this, I may have to lift the rack one more hole at the bottom extender bars. But I'm going to test ride the bike to see if I can keep the rack on the lower position, to keep the center of gravity lower. I can't speak yet to the quality or durability. Have not tested or ridden bike with it yet. I might update this review in a few months once I have more experience with it. But it feels well made. The soldering seems good. The paint is even. The finish is a kind of matte, and smooth. I like that it has a ring on both side at the bottom made to hook bungie cords or tie down to. And a tangential benefit is that it looks like it will act as an effective mud guard / fender on the back of the bike.

Great rack, especially because this one is bolted together it allows for a lot more adjustability with regard to rear wheel spacing. Add a few washers on each side at the top and you can dial the width in perfectly to your particular bike which is why I went with this one. Rack is plenty sturdy with some nice attachment points and places to secure various panniers.

This fit my bike perfectly. As a casual bike rider who occasionally goes on an overnight trip, I needed a rear bike rack that didn’t connect to my bike seat post because my seat doesn’t sit that high. I bought a small bag to strap onto it for a change of clothes and it was perfect. It was easy to install and seems to be really durable.
