The translucent tank with 4.5in. wide mouth opening for easy filling and cleaning. The built-in pressure relief valve allows you to depressurize the tank when refill is needed or when the job is done. Sprayer works ok pump handle is cheaply made and lid doesn’t seal well. But all and all it works. I wouldn’t put anything in it that you’d be afraid to get on your skin.

It works great overall. Best features are the fill cap has a nice center handle, comes with multiple tips for various jobs, and I was very impressed with the kit of spare o-rings for repair work or tune-up after a few seasons of work. Only gripe I have is the button to lock the trigger is not easy to set or release. That could use some improvement. And I would love a waist strap for less rocking when operating the pressure handle. Maybe you, like me, have discovered that a one-gallon pump sprayer is ridiculously not up to the job of spraying all of your flower beds and gardens. How much trouble is this to set up, tighten properly to hang on my back, be able to pump easily? Enough for me to appreciate all the guys that have to schlep something like this around for a living. The only way this getup is "one size fits all" is with having to muck around with slip-straps and choosing appropriate nasty words like an incantation. Well, at least me. I hate slip-straps. If you have worn a well adjusted backpack for camping, this is not the same thing, unfortunately. If you are older, have seriously achy muscle groups or bones that move louder than a squeaky gate, consider what you are planning to buy and use. Nothing dramatic to consider other than you will be carrying an awkward 35 pound or so sloshy backpack around your yards I'd strongly recommend a dress rehearsal with yourself. Joan Baez music is optional. I'd recommend that you also test-use this beastie. It'll give you a chance to check how tight the backpack belts are, and more importantly, give you a chance to pump air into the tank as you move through your gardens. I thought I was golden until I tried to pump the tank and found out that keeping the shoulder straps lose, to push more of the weight lower on my back, made it completely unwieldy trying to pump the tank, and in fact, almost set me rolling as the weight moved its way up and over as I tried to adjust it to the side to be able to get at the pump handle easier. If you are left-handed, you will see how "just moving the handle to the other side" did us no favors. Suffer with "all of the above," like me? I warm my arms up slowly, then quicker, as my muscles come alive. One thing I take to heart: Getting the angle of the handle useable and not straining my arm muscles to be difficult. As far as filling, using and cleaning out the unit to be easy and straightforward. Am I happy with this purchase? Yes, as the dust has settled and I have used it a few times, I am very happy that I bought this. ... show more
