I tried to use to sublimate stainless steel tumblers. I was hopeful, but this just doesn’t maintain heat evenly and does not heat up enough at the desired setting. I had to jack the heat up to 550 F, to get any semi decent results. It just did not heat evenly, and it didn’t maintain steady heat long enough to accomplish a good transfer. I was hoping to get better pressure, and thus a better transfer, but ended up wasting hours trying to get the heat to work. This heat press worked amazing for one month, and then stopped working correctly. The heat would jump from 320 to 740 , and all over the place, causing very un even heat for my tumblers. I'll be reaching out to the company, but not to happy with the value for the price !

Originally I had left a negative review because the machine was burning all of my tumblers. Realkant reached out to me immediately, sent me instructions on how to adjust the LCD screen to match the actual temperature (one side was off by 40 degrees and the other side by 70) They even sent me 10 replacement tumblers. Very pleased with customer service and the machine works the way it should. The smell everyone complains about is the chemical reaction of the sublimation ink, coating and heat.
