Works great for my use with cutting boards.. some reviews indicated the excess epoxy material being spilled over due to the liner wall angle. Simple fix, use a small bead of caulk on the end of the boards to avoid the epoxy from getting through and a simple 1/8th trim off the ends when ready to proceed. Also set up with a system that allows you to add weight on top of the material being used so it presses firmly down to the bottom side of the mold... easy to release the finished product with a slight tap of the rubber mallet. ... show more

I purchased and my first one was warped, went through some back and forth and the company replaced. - I enjoy using the mold, but only when I can weigh it down FLAT (which is a chore). - I have decided to look into crafter elements silicon molds for the simple fact that I KNOW they are flat. - Make no mistake, Prestige molds work but they know they have issues and seem to be okay with all of the similar complaints. This mold works just fine when using a mold release. I have had no issues removing the casting from the mold. I dinged it two stars because the bottom is not anywhere near flat. Fortunately I have the needed equipment to flatten the casting. Some will not… If the bottom were to be flat I would definitely give it five stars! ... show more

While the mold is exactly as described 10" x 18", I somehow imagined it as little shorter. It works great, I've used it twice in the few days I've had it. It is a bit longer (insert bad joke here) than I prefer for most of my cutting boards, but I think if I put a block of wood covered in silicone or another material that doesn't stick to resin filling up the portion I don't want to use, everything should work out. This is a far easier problem to fix than to small like all the other cutting board molds I've seen and passed on. I really wish I had found this sooner, so much easier than building one use molds of MDF and shipping tape. ... show more
