It does sit up or can’t be repositioned so it can only lay down. Mouth doesn’t open so can’t put pacifier or bottle in mouth. Too big for a little girl. Maybe better for a 5 -7 year old rather than a 2 1/2 year old

I thought the words “reborn” and “lifelike” meant the doll felt soft and realistic. It is not. It’s a very pretty doll, but not at all soft and cuddly. The head, arms and legs are the typical hard vinyl (?) found in most dolls. The cloth body is very stiff. Doll cannot be sat up. I bought the smaller 18 inch because it was meant for a 2 year old. It is too late to reorder a different doll before Christmas, and living in a rural area, very hard to find an actual store to purchase one. I haven’t decided if I plan to keep it, or return it based on the cost. I could just replace it for much less. I really wanted a soft baby, but I guess I need to do some research on the words used to describe them. They are very misleading.
