This alien mask is pretty solid for the price. It's made of thick premium latex that's soft and comfy on my face, no weird cheap plastic feel. It's eco-friendly and non-toxic too, which is nice. Yeah, there's that typical latex smell when you first open it, but I just left it out for a couple days and it was gone. No big deal. Fits most heads fine. I'm a regular sized guy and it sat snug without being too tight. Good eye, nose, mouth and ear holes so you can actually see, breathe, talk and hear normally. None of that muffled stuffy feeling like some masks give you. It does get a little warm inside after a while but it's worth it. I'm very impressed with how it looks to other people. It looks expensive. I showed a few people and they thought it was very cool. I'm looking forward to using it on Halloween and at some theme parties. Would make a fun gift for anyone into horror stuff. It came a little squished in the box from shipping but after letting it sit out for a day or two it popped back into shape no problem. This latex mask is of average quality. It has potential if you are crafty and can do some modifications. Pros: It is reasonably priced. It is creepy. It initially had a strong odor, but that went away after a day of airing it out. It is long enough that you can tuck the bottom of the mask into a shirt collar. Cons: It comes in a flat envelope so it came with wrinkles that needed to be worked out. It doesn't look as nice as the advertisement images. The latex surface is matte and dull. When I use it I'll spray a little gloss clearcoat on it to make the "skin" and "eyes" a bit shiny. The back of the mask has a slit for pulling it over one's head, but it is almost impossible to get it to stay closed unless you can find a way to fasten it. As a result it tends to make your head look more round and fish-like than like an alien (see photos). It is very hard to see out of this mask. It is also very stuffy. The only openings to see and to breathe are at the inside corners of the "eyes," the "nostrils," and the "mouth." It would be better if the eyes were a shaded transparent plastic or a see-through material. Maybe I'll try to replace them with sunglasses lenses or thin black pantyhose fabric. It is a fun mask, but it will need some modifications to really make it good. My verdict - three stars. I received the FLORENCE IISA Alien Latex Mask. The details on this mask are impressive, especially for the price. The latex feels durable, and the mask has a realistic look that's perfect for Halloween, haunted houses, or costume parties.
