Peterson Fyreside 24-Inch Live Oak Log Set with Vented Burner, Auto Safety Pilot control valve and Gas Connection Kit, (Propane Gas Only) 64-YEP Vented Gas Logs. The outstanding craftsmanship of RH Peterson captures tradition and quality with the natural realism of the 24-inch Live Oak log set. The high- definition bark enhances the natural wood look. The logs are crafted from superior refractory ceramics which provide radiant heat even after the burner has been turned off. Each log has a steel rod insert for maximum reinforcement, and the vented design means they burn efficiently to reduce pollution and protect natural resources. The included Auto-Safety Pilot System (Model SPK-26P) allows for turning the Flame On & Off and adjusting the flame height with a turn of a knob. Set Includes: 6 Gas Logs, Grate, Vermiculite, Glowing Embers, Vented Burner, Auto Safety Pilot Control Valve and Gas Connection Kit. Burner Output: 50,000 BTUs (Propane Gas Only)

I live in a four bedroom house in NE Penna, I was looking for something to keep the living room and kitchen comfortable and let the rest of the house stay a little cooler. I installed these logs (took about an hour). Gas line was already there. Perfect timing, the night I installed them temp dropped to -12. The logs worked perfectly, and honestly with the temperature on a normal 20 degree day I never turn the logs above half way! I would definitely recommend these, and they are so much better built than local box store junk! One last thing, in my dealings with customer service, they were very helpful and I felt they were actually there for customer service!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great looking product. Easy to install with mostly everything you need. The logs look nice and realistic. I understand the difference in prices of gas logs based on the colors and appearance. We changed from the real wood, gas assisted blue flame rod, but we were concerned about the prices. This "live oak" log set from "FYRESIDE" (R.H. Peterson) made a confusing decision easier. We hope to get many years of service from this product. I believe this product to be made and or assembled in the U.S.A. and that is also important to me. ... show more

This is the first negative review I have ever left on Amazon. I never do this. I can’t believe how poor of a product this is. The logs disintegrated within 6 months, clogged up the fireplace gas exit holes, the pilot and control knob was placed too close on the product to the actual fire and burned off/ smoked out my house. I had the gas turned way down. No chance it was because of too much gas flow. Just a terrible product. The amount of char that comes from this thing is nuts. ... show more

We just switched our fireplace from a wood burning to ceramic gas logs. This set was the smallest size to fit in our stone masonry insert and the logs are heavy and realistic. It works great, gives some heat, and a nice atmosphere. We had a long gas pipe that could not be cut so had to set the grate off-center from the gas tube kit to center it in the fireplace, it works fine. We purchased a bag of 1/2-1" size lava rocks and was plenty for a small fireplace. Would highly recommend this set for anyone considering the purchase ... show more
