I installed this in my fireplace replacing an old log set. The installation went well and the fire looks amazing. The glowing embers make a huge difference and looks like a wood burning fire. I am really enjoying the Real Fyre Gas log set. It arrived 2 days earlier than estimated. Set up was straightforward and easy, which was good as this is my first experience with gas fire logs. The flame and logs look realistic, the remote so convenient. I have a heatilator in my fireplace and it warmed it up to where the fans blew enough hot air out to warm up the den. The only setback was when the installer finished the final gas hookups and he couldn't get the pilot light to light. Seems he had me turn the gas valve off at the fireplace and neither of us thought to turn it back on. Oops! The pilot light works much better with natural gas running through it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are great logs and super realistic. These replace a 25 year old set that we had never been happy with. The remote feature is a bonus. So glad we found these.

I did my research online and watching Youtube videos and settled on Peterson Real Fyre vented gas logs. I went to the Peterson website to check their prices and feel I got a much better price through Amazon. I was given a delivery date and the two large boxes arrived about a week sooner. Everything was packaged well. Nothing was damaged and no parts missing. I can't tell you how pleased I am with this set. I'm sitting in my chair next to the fire right now. Even though this is a vented system with my fireplace flue open, I can't have the flame real high or the room would get too warm. I am beyond happy. ... show more

Replaced our old ventless logs with these vented ones. So much more realistic looking. Easy assembly. I love the way the embers look under the fire. The remote works great. Since they are vented they don’t give off much heat, which is what we wanted as our room was always getting too hot with the ventless logs. So far we are very satisfied with these logs. ... show more

These logs make a beautiful fire and look so real. The price was great compared to what I would have paid at a local fireplace store.
