This unique Triple Burner system has a powerful main burner for the log flame and an additional burner for the ember bed, making it one of the most realistic burner systems on the market today. This Burner system is designed for use with Natural Gas and can produce up to 90,000 BTUs. This Natural Gas Burner System includes a safety pilot valve kit which allows for ease of operation and full adjustability of the flame. This Burner System includes: Natural Gas Triple-Burner, Adjustable Auto-Pilot Control Valve, Custom Grate, Silica Sand, Glowing Embers, Damper Clamp, and Gas Flex-line Connector Kit. The product description said it would work for a vented fireplace. The installation instructions advised that the burner would only work in a wood-burning fireplace and also had minimum dimensions necessary for safe operation. I have a metal insert vented gas-burning fireplace and my unit did not meet the dimensions. It would have been nice to know that information prior to ordering. I had to pay the return shipping of $55, so I'm not a happy camper. ... show more

The gas line that comes with this unit, is too short. It should come with at least an 18" flex line. Unless your shut off valve is on the RIGHT SIDE of this burner, the flex line is way to short. Thankfully I had a 22" flex line already. Other than that, it seems to be a pretty good unit.

Defect item was sent and no refund was provided. Amazon washed their hands also because item was sold through 3rd party seller. You will need to pay shipping back to Canada and hope you'll be refunded..most likely not.... waist of my $400plus....do not buy. Not a honest seller.

    • Toxic paint smell
Once lit it smells horribly of paint fumes. The gas tubes are painted with some ordinary paint that smells really toxic when burned. The paint is all bubbling up. Hopefully it will go away. I need another gas fireplace, but just based on this I don't think I would go for another RealFyre brand one. Rigjt now I'm freezing outside to see if the smell will burn off so I can come in. ... show more
