First the packaging, I got it in a compact box so it didn't have room to flop around and become damaged. There was bubble wrap and a small cardboard piece to cover the mouthpiece. Great packaging and shipping, luckily it wasn't broken which would be more on the delivery system than the merchant. Next is the items, it comes with a nice drawstring bag and little information insert. Very nice touch, the bag though is a little tricky to open, bit after a few times it seems it just needs to be broken in. It's a sort of burlap bag, think those soap carrying pouches or the ones for potatoes. It's design is nice and keeps it covered. Great pouch, stiff when you first open it, so it needs a little breaking in. Finally the whistle, it isn't heavy but you can tell it's not plastic. I can't confirm the materials are as listed, and I don't want to break it to check, but it's about the weight of a baseball. The design looks like the picture and the mouthpiece didn't have any defects or issues with making the sound. I don't have a tool to verify the decibel, but it's loud. It sounds more human and like a banshee shriek, so if you were expecting the sound of scream souls, it's not that eerie. Great product, packaging and storage pouch were nice and done right. With the price, and definitely will be loud and scare people. Doesn't sound like multiple screams, like some genuine artifacts, but it's scary enough.

It's loud, it's scary and it sounds like a woman screaming. It didn't take much practice to get the scream where I wanted it to be. Now I wait for the sun to go down to give this thing the ultimate product test.

I am updating the whistle, after working out the rough edges and tweaking the air hole I now have it sounding as it should .I updated rating to 4 stars, It looks really cool and has something rattling around inside when you shake it. it makes a loud wind blowing sound with a almost screaming noise but it’s nothing like videos Ive watched, not sure if it’s not all whistles are made equal or what but it will look nice on the shelf
