First the packaging, I got it in a compact box so it didn't have room to flop around and become damaged. There was bubble wrap and a small cardboard piece to cover the mouthpiece. Great packaging and shipping, luckily it wasn't broken which would be more on the delivery system than the merchant. Next is the items, it comes with a nice drawstring bag and little information insert. Very nice touch, the bag though is a little tricky to open, bit after a few times it seems it just needs to be broken in. It's a sort of burlap bag, think those soap carrying pouches or the ones for potatoes. It's design is nice and keeps it covered. Great pouch, stiff when you first open it, so it needs a little breaking in. Finally the whistle, it isn't heavy but you can tell it's not plastic. I can't confirm the materials are as listed, and I don't want to break it to check, but it's about the weight of a baseball. The design looks like the picture and the mouthpiece didn't have any defects or issues with making the sound. I don't have a tool to verify the decibel, but it's loud. It sounds more human and like a banshee shriek, so if you were expecting the sound of scream souls, it's not that eerie. Great product, packaging and storage pouch were nice and done right. With the price, and definitely will be loud and scare people. Doesn't sound like multiple screams, like some genuine artifacts, but it's scary enough.

Good item, great customer service. After receiving a slightly defective whistle, the company kindly replaced it and the new one is spectacular. The scream/whistle is bone chilling and loud.

I purchased this to enhance my role as a scare actor at a local haunted happening event for a AAA baseball team. I wasn't that impressed at first and that was due to being behind the projection of sound from the whistle. The other actors on my team said the whistle truly sounded like a screaming person. Judging by the reactions of the people that came to the event and my supervisors, well, they were all impressed by the sound the whistle created. The construction is solid; made from some sort of ceramic. The finish on the outside is very good. I would buy it again and I would buy one from a different maker just to compare. Worth the money.

This whistle looks great and is great quality. Despite being something that is more mass produced, it has some authentic aspects to it that make it feel unique to you. The whistle itself does create the expected terrifying sound.

Better than expected! The sound is clear and loud. Definitely sounds like a traditional death whistle. It arrived wrapped in burlap. There is a design of an eagle on the burlap. This is the second one I buy. Both were gifts and both people had nothing but great things to say about them.
