We used this for an awning on our deck. It is perfect. My husband modified the drain pipes to drain off both sides of our deck. It is very sturdy and works great for our needs. It did take my husband and I 2 days to assemble...but very pleased with the results.

I love this carport. I've received compliments from my neighbor and family members. We recently had a Christmas house decorating party. For the party we moved the patio furniture underneath the carport to help protect us from the sun.

Numerous damaged parts were seen at delivery. Contacted manufacturer by email after numerous emails back and forth it became apparent that they had no intention of honoring their 30 day warranty Amazon was extremely helpful in remedy the situation. With everything heating up I wanted some shade over the driveway. There were several options, often cheaper, but they seemed more appropriate to an industrial park than a residential neighborhood. This car port with its graceful curved roof and gray supporting structure discreetly provided this shade. Two people and a stepladder are needed for assembly but it's much much easier and faster with three people and two stepladders. I unpackaged the fasteners into separate piles so I could quickly find them. Same with the structural elements which are well marked for identification.
