I'm using this to protect an assembly table made of Soft Maple. It goes on easy, the orange scent is nice and not overpowering. The wood's soaking it up really well and I had to buy a second bottle to put some more coats on. IT dries really well and I expect it will cure pretty quickly as well. Great stuff, highly recommended. I read a bunch of the bad reviews and I believe the wood wasn't prepped correctly or the environment was too humid. I'm using it in an air conditioned workshop and it's going on beautifully.

This product is high-quality and a pound stretched really far. I used it on acacia butcher block countertops and it made the grain pop beautifully! I also used it to refresh my older wood cabinets. This product goes on smoothly and isn't fussy, I used a sponge brush and waited about 12-24 hours between coats. It is food safe upon curing and already thinned with citrus solvent so it will absorb well. Highly recommended!

I'm just an old guy doing his hobby in his garage...a hobby started at the beginning of the pandemic. I make 3D looking end-grain cutting boards out of walnut, maple, and cherry mostly. Up until I discovered this Tung Oil and Citrus Solvent I used mineral oil and beeswax. I was very content with the results I got, but the water stopped beading up on the boards after only a limited number of uses and cleanings. That meant that I needed to reapply the mix frequently. After getting and applying this product, water beads up even after weeks of using the cutting boards we have in our kitchen. As a consequence, I feel like the boards are more fully sealed against contamination and I feel confident the boards will last nearly forever with care. They also look fantastic with the grain in the wood "popping" out. Just great product. Easy to apply, durable, and enhances the appearance of my products.

This products seems to work well. I used four coats on my cutting board with a couple of hours between each application. I let the board sit for 30 days without using to ensure it would cure properly. I love this stuff. Water beads right off. The smell has a citrus odor and can be quite strong, so definitely use in a well ventilated area.... the scent starts off mild but really becomes overpowering as time goes.

This is a good product for wood finishing. I've used it on untreated cutting boards with zero finish, reapplying to cutting boards, and other wooden kitchen products in my home. It uses quality oils and works well. I am knocking it one star because it is a little thinner than 50/50 tung/orange oil products I've purchased from other vendors. That would lead me to believe Real Milk Paint is adding slightly more orange oil to this mix than advertised. Pouring a thinner oil mix is messier, and it doesn't stick as well to a board as a more viscous product.

We found this because a YouTuber we watch was talking about food safe glues and stains. My brother in laws made us these two cutting boards from hundred year old trees and sent them to us, so I wanted something to protect them and age for food. We followed the instructions and had to put on 5 coats. Did I mention It smells amazing. Like walking into an orange groove. Here are the before and afters. One is white oak, the other is black walnut. We used a wood burning kit to burn in M for meat and V/C for veggies and cheese.
