LOVE LOVE LOVE this egg swing! We already had an installation up for a previous swing but everything that came with the set up of the swing was not cheap stuff. Very very impressed with this swing including the easiness of just popping open the chair and collasping it for bad weather or storage for winter. I am keeping the big bags it came with to for storage in our shed. the dark teal blue cushion is really nice and comfy, head pillow is a little flat. It's roomy for one person. I got this to replace my hammock chair that I've use in the house now for several years since I have to sit for many hours and the hammock chair cocconned me well and comfortably. I thought this would be more stable but would give me the same kind of support. I will confess it's well made and yes stable BUT I'm going to have to put my hammock chair back up for reasons, issues a few others may have that are similar to mine. I have severe lumbar back issues as well as digestive issues that cause a LOT of pain and discomfort. I'm also short so when I sit back I'm completely doubled over, my head on my chest and my back completely curved to a hunched position which is VERY painful and of course I can't breathe. I also am given to compression issues in hard chairs that cause bruising on my butt and the backs of my thighs. The cushion with this is way too thin for me so that is very painful after even 10 minutes. SO, I started trying and even buying various kinds of cushions, bolsters, lumbar pieces (which are way too small or thin to fill in the back bulbous area of the egg shape to allow me to be more forward) I've spent more on these than I paid for the chair. I have tried everything I can think of. I can barely get in the chair at all. I think that when you're young and love sitting with legs crossed up in the seat and don't lean back, then this chair is probably fun BUT, when you're older or with other health issues, this is a terrible choice. ___________________________________________ EDIT: ONE week after the top review: We finally took this egg chair down and put my hammock chair back up. I had spent more on various pillow types including limbar etc., that the cost of those was even more than the chair. I was in agony with this chair, so hunched over that my digestion was in havoc and my spine was in so much agony that I kept having to stand upright or lay down in a prone position. IF you have any kind of medical issues this is a VERY BAD choice of chair concept. You cannot lean back at all and it's difficult to get in and out of. I have learned a very valuable and expensive lesson that I do NOT want others to make. ... show more

I’ve bought quite a few swinging chairs, so I know quality when I see it. This is it!!! The price is amazing for what you get. I almost bout a $800 swinging chair but I’m so glad I waited and got this one. Feels sturdy and the quality is amazing. Definitely feels like it’ll last awhile. My kids play a little rough in it and it not only looks like it’ll hold up but it still looks brand new. It’s spacious and comfortable. Bonus it already comes with mounting hardware and a chain. Once you set it up and sit in it, you realize your neck is crooked forward because of the bar behind it. Should have had deeper bar towards the top so you could lay back of which I believe is the whole point of this chair not to sit straight up with no back support. Other than that it is a good looking and sturdy chair and easy to put up but unless you’re a child I don’t believe it’s gonna be comfortable for many adults. I am 5.9’ feet and weigh 200 pounds. My wife is 5.6’ and it still crooked her neck forward. Surprised the other reviews did not mention this. A ... show more
