Bought this for my son and loved it so much I bought a second one for myself! It is super easy to use. The volume is adjustable and can get pretty loud (great for those who are hard of hearing or using to drown out background noise for sleeping babies/children) and there are several different "music" options for the alarm as well as the sound machine. One of the things I like most about the sound machine option is that you can set a timer or let it go all night long and it won't shut off until the alarm goes off in the morning. The display is adjustable in brightness so it can be super bright or nearly blacked out. We don't use the optional night light but there are several colors to choose from. I also really like the size of the clock b/c it doesn't take up a lot of space on my nightstand. It comes with a USB power cord and the charging block, but we just plug it into the USB port on the surge protector. Obviously, I would 10 out of 10 buy it again since I've already got 2! :)

It has plenty of sounds to choose, ranging from white noise to nature noises. Quite a lot actually. I probably won’t use this feature as often but still nice to have. Only thing I’m kind of dissatisfied with is that while they’re like 30 different sleep noise tracks to choose from there is only like 6 alarms to pick from. With only 2 or 3 that I can really see myself using. Not a complete deal breaker but if there was any reason for me to return it would be that cause it was quite the bummer. Only really got this to have a physical alarm clock and not use my phone. Thought I’d just be able to pick from the vast selection of noises as they would all be nice alarms. Instead it’s limited to very few hand picked sounds. Otherwise, the speaker is good for what it is. Loud enough to fill a bedroom. Nicely made and doesn’t feel or look cheap. Good purchase overall will decide whether or not it’s worth keeping.

I've had one for a few months and it's the best alarm clock I've ever had. I love this so much I got one for and for my teenager. The white noise settings are variable and nice, they even cover up my snoring neighbor's sounds. The choice of alarm sounds are wonderful and gentle. They wake me up but aren't jarring. I fall asleep to the soothing sounds of rain and wake to the sounds of birds. I can put my phone on airplane and leave it in the other room since I no longer need it for my sleep sound apps or alarm. The digital light can be dimmed and dark so there's no ambient light in my room. Wonderful for better sleep hygiene! I also love the nightlight feature of this alarm clock, even though I didn't think I'd need it. This is seriously the best alarm clock & white noise maker ever. It's even small enough that I plan to travel with it! If you're on the fence, just get it! You will sleep better :)

I ordered this mainly to use as a bedroom clock, I do love falling asleep to a rain storm, but this thing is everything I wanted and more! Not only is it super easy to use, but the volume is decently loud using the sounds at night and doesn’t just sound like a phone speaker (thank god). Display is super easy to see and gets plenty bright, and the colors add to the ambience and there’s a good variety.

Excellent quality for the price. Wanted to get my phone out of the bedroom but I was using it as a noise machine at night and an alarm clock. This was an excellent replacement and kept distractions out of the bedroom. Has multiple dimmer switch settings which I really like.

This is a great clock. The time can be set to bright or very low. It has a night light that are different colors or none at all. I love the different sounds for sleep. I have 2 favorites. It is small so it doesn’t take up a lot of room. I highly recommend this clock.

I have trouble going back to sleep after inevitably waking in the middle of the night. I was hoping that some nice sounds might help me return to sleep. I also have chronic tinnitus the last several years, which comes to the front of my attention at times. I was excited about the great reviews, and while it is a pretty attractive little unit with decent sound, there are only a couple or a few sounds out of 20+ I would consider soothing enough to use on a regular basis--namely the ocean, and maybe the rain. The first 8 or so sounds are all some sort of "white noise" which I find annoying rather than soothing, and only seem to differ by tone and or volume--a waste to me. Also kinda like my tinnitus, albeit less "tinny". Then there are a couple that are for kids, some frogs croaking, crickets. birds, none of which I would use, although they sound authentic. Light thunder with the rain--which I found nice initially and thought would be a fave--but discovered I'd jolt a bit when the thunder actually came around. **SIGH** It does have a nicely adjustable volume level, so maybe I'll try that again at a lower volume, but might not be able to hear the rain part! It does have a large time display that can be dimmed, One reviewer apparently couldn't figure that out, but it's the same as the snooze button, and it's written right under it. It is white though, and I looked up the most non-disruptive colors for sleep, and RED seems to be the best, with the warmer colors following. Also, the display is a bit blurry, and that stuff drives me a little nuts. I do love that it "remembers" which sound you used last, in case that's a favorite. but don't like that if you want to change a sound you have to scroll through to the end, then start over to get to what you want, instead just being able to use a reverse/forward arrow--or something. Love the many timer length options to turn off the sound after whatever length you choose. It does also turn off the night light if you have one on, so some may want that as a separate option--maybe for kids who don't want to wake in the dark later. Wish it had more soothing musical options--maybe some cello or something. You'll need to turn on a light on the machine in the middle of the night to find what you are looking for, unless you try to memorize where all the buttons are (haha). Just tried the alarm, and LOVE that there are many options besides a grating, loud BUZZ or BEEP to wake up to. I am retired, so I gratefully won't have to use that often! So I'll use it but keep looking for another machine that has just what I'm looking for, then relegate this to the guest room.
