This little fridge is great! It's incredibly quiet and has an impressive amount of storage space, considering its size. The picture shows an Igloo branded fridge, but the one I received is an RCA. From what I can tell, there are no differences from the pictured version. I love the blue color! It's a little lighter than the blue pictured, but it looks very retro and fits nicely under my desk at work. I've still got room between the desk and the fridge to store things on top of it too! I have yet to experience any leaking or weird noises so I think this one is a winner! I did find some moisture build-up from placing a food storage container too close to the bottom of the freezer section of the fridge. So my nearly 9 yo daughter really wanted a mini fridge in her room so she would have refreshments and cold snack within reach while playing in her room or watching movies. She saved and saved the money and with my help we got the fridge. It's blue and very cute. Fits bunch of little soda cans plus snacks, fruit. It cools nicely on 2 nd setting. Supposedly it's energy efficient with average consumption of $28/ year. Not bad at all. It's a perfect in size for small spaces like bedrooms, offices and such . So far we love this mini fridge. I got this for my room because I am having chemotherapy treatments and some days I just don't feel up to going downstairs to get food and water. This saves me the trip. I love the color and it works really well. My freezer section even works, though from the reviews I didn't expect it to. I didn't rate it 5 stars because I noticed that if I put more that two regular water bottles on the door, then I have to be careful to push the door closed and hold it closed for a moment to ensure that it closes without a gap in the door strip (whatever the strip is called that seals the door so the cold doesn't seep out). ... show more

I ordered this for my 9 year olds birthday. She really wanted something in her room to keep water and snacks in. She also wanted it to be stylish. This fulfilled both requirements! It arrived as promised without any defects. It's very quiet, and you can barely hear it! The small ice compartment is a bonus, and you can't beat the price! My daughter was thrilled, and so was I! I waited a while to see if this worked. Love the color. Use it in my bedroom for my small tea and coffee area. It does gurgle when the compressor works but that doesn't bother me. Keeps small things like creamer, yogurt, and juice cold. Simple -- that's what I like.

Right off I'll say the shipping and box were fine. Amazon and UPS are not the issue with this fridge. It's the manufacturer. The first issue...I open the door and voila!!!...a bent Ice tray...Refer to the picture. You can't use the ice tray...it just slides down spilling the water. This is not a part of the fridge you can "bend" or "move" yourself to make it work...it's fixed. A lot of water drips on the bottom of the "freezer" portion. This was not due to leaving the door open. (refer to picture) The 2nd issue...I can't change the door from one side to the other. One of the screws...which are plastic...the head was broken off and the shaft stuck inside. The other screw just spins. Note to the manufacturer...spend the extra 2 cents and use metal screws next time. the 3rd issue....water drips from the inside of the fridge down the freeze/freon line next to the compressor...right where 2 ground wires are attached to the frame of the fridge. I had this fridge 14 hours and had to wipe up the water a few times. No drip tray!!! the 4th issue...i purchased a fridge...that shows in the picture...it has adjustable shelves and an "igloo" badge on it...i got an RCA the 5th issue...man this thing gets warm...borderline hot...if your toaster oven ever goes out and you need to warm up some biscuits...stick em on top of this this thing...i guarantee it'd warm em up pretty quick Be aware that most of these fridges are of the same manufacturer build and quality. Don't be fooled by the name tag or color. Spend a few bucks more and get a name brand. ... show more

    • Perfect for what we wanted it for
This is a great little fridge. I bought this to use outside and it's been wonderful and easy to move to either the front porch or the back deck where ever we may be spending a lot of time. It's nice to work in the yard and not have to come into the house for drinks or be in the pool and not come in wet. When we don't need it outside we keep it in our guest room plugged in and it's been used by our overnight guests as well. ... show more
